poor recovery from a multi-path reception of the signal?
(For example, GPS does not like running somewhere like New York where it gets a view of only a couple of satellites)

Acer did a revo. It could be attached using the VESA bracket, so with wireless keyboard would feel very all-in-one.

    That had different specs.

Lenovo do a very small NUC -type PC too. (smaller than a paperback).

Superficial – are you sure it was an invoice?
When they sent out a cassette for my sons bike I phoned them and there was no charge but came with paperwork that looked like an invoice (probably just so their systems balanced)

I have used Michelin Pro4 endurance for about a year and seem like a really good tyre. Only got puncture once it had worn right down. Replaced with service course version (think it was because they were reduced)

I had a 200, the breadcrumb trail works a treat.
    It broke.
I have a 500, the breadcrumb trail is useless and now they have stopped supporting it altogether.
500 allows you to customise what it is showing on what screen and how many fields – that can’t be done on 200.

I believe it is a SKIIDDII, not sure if you are interested? (email is in my profile)

Got a logitech one and it works well when with the room, I think with open doors it struggled at around 10m.

Also have one generic one from 7dayshop with NFC (around 7 pounds?) and that seems equally good.

Friend has XC70, 03 plate with something like 140k miles.
He has had it from new.
He loves it, gets it serviced by the main dealer. Has had minor things go wrong with it.

I am tempted by one purely based on his experiences.

And he gets up to 45mpg.

    Yes I have.
I have thule ones. I bought the kit change from my previous vehicle to the new one. Used them a bit and had absolutely no issues (or scratches).

The standard thule ones just touch using rubber. Almost certainly same as audi ones.

Mine are silver, but I don’t think that matters. I was just concerned about the ability to grip the bars even though it can’t reach right around (because they are flush).

We have used Apex joinery in Newport on a number of buildings.
Also recommended to friend (for a block of flats), they were also happy.

    Yes.
Out of the blue they sent a demand for something like £3k.

About 5yrs later it came to be revealed that they slipped and added an extra zero somewhere.

Only took ~5yrs to sort. The baliff letters tended to come whilst I was away too.

I think they are lovely people.

Conclusion was a letter with zero to pay, no apology.

They seem to go dark quickly but the speed to go from dark to light is very slow (glasses are less than one year old). Think a few minutes for them to go almost clear – which is rubbish. Going into somewhere dark from somewhere bright can have the same problem as sunglasses.

I would still get them on my next glasses, just my expectations would be lower.

I have a kenwood one that does all of the above.
Works ok, seems a little buggy. Comes with DAB aerial that sticks on inside of windscreen.

Neighbour had a new aerial fitted, the fitter choose to point at the local repeater, which does not have a complete list of channels.

We need to a high gain aerial and amplified.
    Some thing like:

    http://www.tradeworks.tv/acatalog/Televes_DAT_HD.html

    and a distribution amp of:

    http://www.aerialsat.com/prod/antiference-a281lr-pro-lte-2-in-8plus1-way-amp.html

which is high quality amp and connectors.

We also needed a mast head amplifier (which was driven by the distribution amp), but probably do not need that now (signal levels have increased since they turned off analogue).

Local installers did not want to install the stuff above (wanted to install cheaper craper stuff).

We have had the above installed for probably 10 years now and it has been faultless (signal comes from ~35 miles away with hills and trees in the way).

One son has Go Pro 3+ hero black other son has SJ4000.
Although there is a slightly better (well, different) quality to the Go Pro picture it is not 6 times better!

I would say buy an SJ4000 with every mount possible.

520s because they are not single sided – much safer. What kids started with.

Nobody seems to have mentioned a Pashley U+2 trailer.
It worked very well on the school run for 2 similar sized kids,

As has been said – you can follow a route on a 200.
The main difference between 200 and 500 is: you can use cadence and HRM and a 500. Also the 500 you can (re)configure each screen to show what you want (and the size you want it).
The one thing that annoyed me about the 200 was that I could never work out how to show the time once you were recording a ride (ie it only showed the time when you were at the home screen).

Depends what you want to do with it.

My sons had Kona Stinky (full sus, very strong, quite heavy, slightly rubbish front forks). Other son had Marin Bayview Trail SE – really nice, light, rubbish fork (replaced with air fox – secondhand – running almost no pressure). both used in the alps.

    Dealerships who are clueless –

When I attempted to get cruise control retro-fitted to my Seat Leon they stated it could NOT be done BECAUSE of the drive-by-wire throttle.

I got it fitted by somebody less clueless – it is very easy BECAUSE it IS drive-by-wire.

Generally, ALL dealers are clueless and cannot be trusted.

I did mean blades for the adults not the kids.
We did sell ours because they were NOT releasable bindings and I felt that it would be safer with normal skis.

But when they are younger (we used them from when mine were 2.5 upwards) they work wonders. In as much as you can carry yours and theirs “easily”.

We also used to carry their shoes so that we could whip them off as soon as we had finished. Choose your battles…

Blades and their convenience with young ones made things a lot easier (even simple things like lift queues). Would use them again without hesitation (but with releasable bindings) because of the upsides with young kids. I think we stopped using them when our kids were about 8 or 9.

We went Les Arcs 1800 when ours were that age. Also found snow blades really useful if you need to be able to help them at times. Also meant you could strap their skis to one side as a backpack and yours to the other side.

Also found driving through the night to get there mean’t they didn’t find the journey tedious.

    Japan has always appealed.
The only negative I have heard is from somebody who said that she learnt to board there and it was necessary to check that there wasn’t somebody right next to you before making a move. I guess that is based on a resort near Tokyo and not a more remote resort???

We had 2 jay be beds. Excellent quality. Worked really well for the time we had them.

But we got rid of them for a few reasons, but one of them would be have been because you cannot sit up in them (in a new house – ie low ceilings).

I got both of ebay and sold them for similar money. For the ages mine were (possibly 6-10), they were great.

My son had a Marin trail bay view se.
Great bike, bought specifically for the lack of weight.
Fork was rubbish though. Put an air Reba on it very low pressures.
He had no problem in the Alps on it.
