Have a demo on a salsa mukluk next weekend but they are more money.
Think the fun factor is there no matter how much you spend.

Altura attack 3/4’s on my 3rd winter.
Pocket zip has failed but still wouldn’t be without them.
Don’t think there is much around at the price

    That’s exactly my thought.
Ride fod and Wyre and never had an issue with 100mm Reba’s.
Think another set of Reba’s is best option with tapered steerer and bolt thru just it stiffen slightly.

Never felt “under forked” with 100mm Rebas but would like bolt thru version at least.
    Recently fitted Hope/Flows wheels.

For a Solaris. Ride everything from XC to the occasional DH run.
I’m not what you call a racing whippet .

Was thinking about the arch as comes with QR and 15mm and if I’ve read it right is good balance of weight/strength.
Pity I missed the offer at halfords

Have a look at cilary blue for lenses.
They fitted transition lenses to Oakley five squared frames.
Came to less than £120 all in.

Ben. Seems to be a good compromise. May drop down to a 32 in the mud.

    Hi Ben
Currently running 33×20. Have been experimenting with 34/32 one key ring but had chain tension issues due to new chain.
I will take a pic of drive side.

    Fatmax.
You could always follow the same route as me and buy a cheaper donor bike then upgrade with either new or used.

Have also brought one off ebay from a uk supplier with UK charger.

Have fitted universal Hope bracket and wide angle lens.

Scienceofficer – What tensioner are you using

    DaveE

pete68 no worries think my mind is made up,
Now do i buy a simple frame as currently running SS or solaris with tensioner.
Think the later has more options added to the fact that the blue is to die for.
