Have looked at swapping rims but will only save about 350g / rim (Already run tubeless) where as a ICT frame is I think 7lbs and a Ti mukluk for example is 4.5lbs. What weight is a travers for example.
Not built for carbon. Ideally a titanium frame will last forever.

My intitial thoughts would be to try and match geometry of ICT. Perfect size but heavy.

I like the travers but I run Blutos and haven’t seen any builds using them.

I’m running a Lou on the front. Theory is that is similar to a Nate. I’m still running a 4.8 Jim on the back but it’s not great in the mud, but it’s light and rolls fast.

IMO transforms Fatbike into true all rounder,
Ran rigids on OOF now have 120mm blutos on ICT. Tyre pressures are critical Running 7.5 rear and 8.5 front with 4.8 tubeless Lou,s

I use Pendle 4 Wheel support rack. Agree Aiston good if DH or similar bikes just watch nose weight with 4 bike carriers.

How do you find Puffin better.
Love the stability of the on one at speed and the general handling. Partly due to the slack head angle. Was thinking a puffin with 120mm forks may be the same numbers.
What sizes are the 2 next to each other,
What travel forks are they on puffin
Sorry for all the questions, looked at a puffin some time ago but went for the cheap option of the on one.
Lovin the fat experience and now plan to sell a couple of bikes and build another. (Daughter wants on one)
    Thanks

    Hi Lester.
Did you order the carbon forks at the same time.
What reason did you give them to return standard steel forks.
How long ago did you order.

Thanks hishairyness. See you on Sunday.
Definitely the way I want to go.
Having ridden steel Hardtails for years I am keen to explore these in fatbike guise.

After a bit of research I think I have narrowed down to Genisis Caribou or Singular Puffin.
    Are they similar geometry
    Any other thoughts

Having ridden steel bikes for a number of years an orange P7 and now a Cotic Solaris I like the idea of Caribou or Puffin.
Was wondering if any photos of builds and opinions on either of these bikes/frames.
What would approximate build price be.
Thanks for all comments so far.

Thanks for all the advice. Will weld up extraction tool and have soaked in WD40. Ball joint splitting tool looks like a good idea.
If all else fails will cut through axle and then I can remove taper section in the vice.
