I used a jelly sweet ring. Was fun but it was raining outside, so had to keep replacing it with more!
Also had on hand a brass M10 nut, polo mint, gold hair band, and a few other novelties – created a lucky dip for the event :D

17days + rest period before event.
Start with another 5k tomorrow (Tuesday), take it easy and pace yourself – think 35min total time.
Then do another 5K a few days afterwards, then every 3rd day just add a kilometre.
The key is to taking it at a pace you can manage without being in bits a couple of days later. You’ll know how badly you’ll be suffering based on your weekend run. Tuesday might be difficult for you!

I think I read that they’re the 2nd largest sports-wear company in the world now, only behind Nike.

It’s over-priced and despite thinking I was going to hate it I really enjoyed it in the end. A week will be plenty!
Go see Penn & Teller, grab a cabaret show (absinthe or Vegas are good). Wander in & out of the hotels as many have crazy interior designs and the scale of it is just something else compared to anything over here.
Get an early morning helicopter -> Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon, worth the money – be aware they’ll likely charge you a few quid extra when you get there to checkin though, seems a standard ploy.
Go up the Stratosphere when it’s 2-4-1 cocktails. They’re decent drinks & you get decent value if you stay a couple of hours. Consider doing the rides out on the top if you’re brave!
Freemont at night is fun on a weekend, a couple of live bands on the outdoor stages.
Drink frozen margaritas / daiquiris at any given opportunity.

I’ve got a pair of thigh-length tight lycra under-shorts from Under Armour & Skins. The UA ones fit me much better & were much cheaper too, the Skins ones are a bit uncomfortable around the nether-regions so they’re relegated to gym work only – which is annoying as they were bought for running use.

FWIW, Ling’s cars are helluva cheap too: http://www.lingscars.com/

I especially love their 1990s-style website, but they are reputable and do offer good prices.

Ahhhhh good old Madisons – and the subsequent 101 bar!

We booked an apartment instead as it worked out cheaper for the week we were there & gave us more choice + able to enjoy a few evenings together without having to be out in town.
Used this company, was a good booking experience & good supporting info given upfront; http://www.oh-rome.com/en/

IIRC, you’ll have at least a couple of hours of downtime.
If your meetings can’t be re-arranged either tether via your phone or pop down the local cafe with wi-fi & grab some munchies while you’re there.

A hydrogen peroxide solution is what the tent manufacturers often recommend, brushed/rubbed in with a sponge, left to soak then thoroughly rinsed out.
To reproof, I use silicon-based stuff like Fabisil gold

I do RF Hazard assessments as part of my job. SOME wi-fi routers i’ve seen come with a warning to state you shouldn’t work within ~20cm of them, purely aimed at people sat working next to them all day.
Wi-Fi doesn’t have the energy to mess with the atomic make-up of our cells, the worst it could possibly do* is heat us up.
    *(we think)

Clumping litter is awful stuff – as said above it is just a pain to clean up afterwards. Wood pellets is ok if they’ll use it (ours won’t), as is the paper-based stuff if they’ll use it (ours won’t)…

I’ll probably take that then, will drop you a line in the AM cheers

Could they be used towards a race entry? Probably doing their dirty weekend event, cost is going up & up though!

Don’t dis the George Foreman Grill, great bit of kit.
We gave ours away as it was a waste of space.

Whereas I won’t be without one – far better for me to use than the grill!

The brands are indeed all different – I used to have New Balance >10yrs ago, but now get on best with a pair of Adidas Supernovas, and have found that I do need a stability variant or I suffer. £60 should get you a decent pair, especially if you can source something from the sales.

Check their website, I think they do now offer a less full-on version which is still a great performer, might fill the niche you’re after.

Ikea sell lightweight fabric stick up blinds which look entirely acceptable IME.
So reasonable that they’ve been up for 6 months longer than anticipated in our place!

FWIW, I usually rely on SIS REGO for speeding up recovery after hard training.
Every now and again it’s on offer and comes down to a reasonable price.

There is a limit of what you can absorb, but this is taken into account with the does measurement advice.
They do bars as well as powder for a shake as well. The peanut ones are lush!

We had this for hallway & landing lights that had twin switches top & bottom. Basically it’s the bulb presenting a load to the circuit and causing inductance in the cable, just enough to cause it to fire, which dissipates the charge & start it again.
We changed the bulb for a branded one and it stopped happening.

Whichever will hide the stains from the pie/black pudding which you drop down your front!

Whichever has the tail-lift, would be my recommendation.
Lifting things up into either will fast be tiresome without one! I’ve moved a fair few times, so speaks the voice of experience.

Bamboo in large containers will certainly give you a good privacy screen, there are enough varieties to choose from & some look really nice.

Yes, it’s in our bathroom. The temperature sensor in it has broken, so we have to switch it to just run on a % duty cycle instead of being temp. controlled.

I use stuff from these guys: http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/
It may be similar to some things Topps sell, but they have a better sales pitch & a better range for different materials/finishes.

Camera Obscura is a novelty attraction, we were pretty disappointed having built it up in our heads beforehand!

If you want just a little drinkie, The Apple boat on the river at Welsh Back is ace.
Funnily enough, the Chinese restaurant just off the bearpit does really good food, even if it’s nothing to look at from outside.

We have them cos I have or had a severe cat allergy…and we got a long haired cat.

Does that genuinely work? I also have an annoyingly hairy cat & am allergic, giving me asthma-like symptoms.

FWIW you can get PVC now with much slimmer sight-lines than older designs used to have.
    Otherwise, Ally is your friend…

My 2006 Mazda 3 has the amp & sub. under the front seats. Most likely the same for yours, a few manufacturers do that.

For an electric shower I think you’d also need a suitably sized spare way in you consumer box as showers are ~10-12 kW iirc. And you need to run a suitably sized cable run in and possibly rcd protection? I’m not a sparky so not sure. Oh, you’d need a proper sparky to self cert the electrical work.

Correct – need to route some chunky cable & have space available on your distribution board (or add an extra one off the tails) – and this work pretty much needs to be done by a certified sparky who can sigh the job off.

We had a laptop fail, the (internet) supplier put us in touch with Samsung’s authorised repair company, who dealt with us direct. I would imagine something similar will probably happen with your TV – the shop starts the process but then you deal direct with the repair company. They’ll probably arrange to collect it from you.
Infact, we just did it all through Samsung’s website – registered the product there then claimed for a warranty repair (twice!).

Mira Sport – had them before & very good, no need for power shower if you use one of them IME.

This happens very occasionally on mine. I usually just stop/clear the music app, remove & re-insert the headphones. No doubt you have found that doesn’t work on yours anymore, although I thought i’d just dropped my phone too many times TBH!

I use a pair of small Behringer MS16 active monitors speakers, they accept both RCA input and 3.5mm jack – they are plugged into a usb mixer & laptop via an offboard DAC (not unlike yours).
Works well, but they’re getting on a bit now and other brands may be better value these days. I bought 2nd hand, as value was important to me at the time. Sound plenty good enough for me.

We live nearby, I have suggested to a friend who is a baker that she offer a hat cake FOC to him!
