I would go stans flow rims with whatever hub takes your fancy myself.

mavic wheels are hard to get spares for (unless you are in the alps at an event when the mavic truck is there)

ok, just pointing out you don’t need to be a downhiller for the mega (done it twice, not doing it again)

mega is more trail than downhill
