I hope we get none. This country cant cope with it! Everything comes to a stand still.

They’re just copying Sheffield again though. Leeds always does.

Hence why Sheffield Centre is so prosperous…..oh wait on.

I am still in fingerless gloves 😆 But we are all different and you maybe in Scotland!

When it gets colder I use Prendas Super Roubaix gloves, lovely. In the depths of winter I usually use these as a lining glove. But thats when its very very cold for me.

    Sportful No Rain

Another vote for them here, they’re good. However on a loooong ride in the light rain I would say wear a jacket unfortunately if its colder. The arm warmers when wet just dont keep you warm enough IMO. Even the sportful no rain which are warm.

If you were on road with high pressure on the MTB then you will come off more than stay on. Especially in built up areas where oil & fuel and general sh!te is on the roads

    I do the following;

Commute to work every day. I feel this keeps me ticking over and it helps me get intervals in whilst I am on a busy week.

    Monday – Recovery Day usually
Tuesday – Gym first thing. Race training with the Lads in the evening, c80km including getting there and back and do stuff from attack simulations, sprint etc.
    Wednesday – Club ride
Thursday – Gym First thing. Longer ride home
Friday – Rest (Although still commute on the bike)
    Saturday – Long Ride
    Sunday – Recovery Ride

If I am racing I will taper during the week if its a key goal.

The mount is underslung under my garmin mount and its solid. The issue is what Chillidave said. Its the picture jerking as if it gets stuck and then jumps on a few frames.

I shall try and format the SD card, thanks.

Have you used them? Shame your bike wont take them. Make commuting a hell of a lot more comfortable.

I have the MaxxD and a Joystick too.

However, I havent used them at once, i.e the joystick on the helmet. But I will be 🙂 I bought the Joystick ages ago as a commuter and the MaxxD to replace some Hope lights I had for a bit more power.

    Superb lights.

Miller she’s called, I think she has won one of the Tougher Mudder events about 6 times, right little hard nut.

I’ve enjoyed it, been a good laugh.

Had similar when buying tickets for a rugby game when I did it online. I thought fair enough (it was only £2) its for P&P etc.

I went to the shop for some tickets a couple of week after as I was near by. They still charged me it. I asked why and they said it was an ‘admin charge’ WTF!

I dont think its weird not having kids there. What is odd, is the way you found out. I.e at the last minute and via an email.

Be careful too. If you only have ceiling joists and not deeper floor joists dont pile too much stuff, especially paper in there!

I cycle on bit of it everynow and then. The fact they deviated away from the plans wasnt a good thing. I.e originally the cars had to give way to the cyclists at junctions. Now its the other way around. So for one I shall stick to the road.

Well done all. A superb day.

    I was spectating at Ribblehead.

The usual complete carnage from traffic, some of the driving by support vehicles was just lunatic

The marshaling at Ribblehead T-Junction was farcical. There was a women who was supposed to be marshaling there but was too busy talking to people than instructing cars etc

That road from Hawes to Ingleton, man alive the motorcyclists on there, absolute lunatics. I was riding to Ingleton and an ambulance was going towards Ribblehead. We pulled over to allow the Ambulance up yet 5 motocyclists thought they would go through first so the Ambulance with blue flashing lights had to wait. Complete bell ends. Think Bike, think ****.

Raced on Saturday. Feeling great was up the top 10/15 all through the race keeping out of trouble. Final bell went and suddenly loads of people turned into full retards.

Not keeping their racing line, and then *bang* first crash happened, behind me. Took down about 10. Then on the final kick to the end, another rider cuts across a kid who goes down and another rider who I know goes into them full bore.

Lad I know needed airlifting to hospital. Its really scared me. He is still in hospital. He’s a good lad, wife and kids. He needed CPR and had a collapsed lung and was in a serious way, still isnt out of it yet.

The lads who IMO caused this were AFAIK were unattached. They were clearly not used to riding in a bunch 🙁 After this I just dont know if I can race road again, its scared me. Maybe a steady winter season of base I may change my mind.

Stay safe out there guys and gals.

I dont mind dogs at all. In fact, I love animals on the whole.

However when I commute on the canal, dogs that arent on leads and running everywhere are becoming a pain. Whilst their owners are on their phones no doubt on FB posting pictures of dogs & cats ‘reading’ newspapers etc.

    Hope the lads ok anyways.

    Hehe thats the question.

There is one on there that takes you upto Bingley along the canal so its a longer one if you have more time.

Then a shorter one that I do on an evening if I have an hour or so to burn.

The one over to Sicklinghall is one of my faves 🙂

I get it through work, but wouldn’t bother if I didn’t. No mortgage, no kids and wife has a good job.

You see this I dont understand.

What happens, and please this is a hypothetical situation but one i have heard about.

You die. She gets so depressed and stressed she has to finish work. What happens then?

I suppose you dont care as you’re dead? Surely you want your loved ones to be looked after?

I would speak to the local authority in the first instance. If one of the houses is council owned it maybe an adopted sewer in that case a build over agreement would be needed.

Another one would be, if you are wanting to divert, this could be v costly, and a bit of a logistical mare. I.e the other 7 houses aint gonna stop sh!tting for the c1.5 weeks whilst you get the construction done. Where does the sh!t go?

Construct the new drainage then quickly connect the new stuff?

Do you guys have a will? Some of our friends dont yet they have kids and I dont understand that.

What happens when you do people who don’t have dependents? Do you own, rent? Have mortgages? What happens to your estates etc?
