the GPs are great but i currently prefer Vittoria open pave.

totally brilliant performance but longevity can be a bit of an issue.

60,000 pound for a 3 year old one here in Norway. Or around 80,000 new

    The missus wants one.

did mine 7 years ago. had a titanium screw put in to hold it all together. 3 months in plaster and 3 months of physio. still hurts a bit now and is a weak point. But hey whatever. just get on with it.

Swiss Franc is back to about 1.40 where it belongs thankfuckly

But everything exported from there is pricey.

when i lived in Zurich (not that long ago) the exchange rate was 2.20

and the current BMC range look exactly like the older bikes. I see no major change other than moving to Carbon (a few years ago) from Scandium

but there are many better value for money bikes. But they are surprisingly popular in Switzerland

Is it because of the high value of the Swiss franc compared to the pound

anything with bikes in it is worth watching….as opposed to being forced to be in the same room as the missus and in-laws who are watching the Norwegian version of that sh1t dancing competition with Z list has-beens

The obvious reason is it ain’t correct. Something wrong with the measurements. But I hope it’s true cause it makes the universe a bit weirder.

I remember at registration for last year there was a petition going round to try and keep the start and finish in Ninove.

Having the 3 loop finish for the sportive would be “interesting” to say the least

I had a series of shite jobs til I was in my late 20s. Stuck in a rut and stuck in a shithole town in the north of England. So went to Uni and studied something I enjoyed. 6 years after I had a PhD and the beginning of a career I liked. I now live in a great place and enjoy my job. Be happy you have options and take some risks. Do something you enjoy.

hi from a little place called Hommersåk about 40km from Stavanger.

If you are only here for a weekend then I would go to Oslo. Its the only place you would recognise as an actual city.

But if you want scenary then pretty much anywhere is great – Bergen and Stavanger are very nice and have some excellent one day trips available.

Very unlikely to see any northern lights. wrong time of the year. Its too light and you really need to go up north to Trømso.

and the cost is a pain in the ar5e for visitors ut just be careful where you eat and drink and you’ll be fine.
