luckily for me my job pays for a yearly MOT at a local private clinic – and before anyone asks it’s totally confidential – blood and piss works, all the usual checks and questions and cause Im over 50 I also get to be fisted and have my prostrate tickled – which is a nice bonus
One thing that helps here in Norway is the main garage brand (ex Statoil and now called Circle K) have a deal where you buy a coffee mug with a lid and you get free coffee from any of their petrol stations for one year. But a new mug each Jan.
although to be fair, and I applaud everyone’s efforts, individual contributions like these have a very small impact. And if anyone flies abroad on vacation then that totally trashes any “saving” you may have made on anything else. Real impact must be forced by government on business and consumers
but I still try cause it makes me feel better about myself

The mates I had when I grew up still live in the UK and I’m in Norway so we don’t see each other much.And over the last 10 years the spark of friendship has faded
Another old Pappa here. Was 46 when my son was born – 5 years ago. The Norwegian wifey is 10 years younger then me so Ive got a ready made nurse for when I’m totally worn out – about 5 years I guess
Its full of kiddie stuff really worth the cost. Me and the missus have never actually watched anything for ourselves. But we will sometime. But just for the kiddie its worth the cost
