I called Three and they confirmed (as per their website) they no longer sell the signal booster, but they also said the local transmitter is being upgraded / fixed next week – so I’ll see if I get a better signal after that – if not I’ll be looking at the options above – ta again

Yep – I swapped components from a Cannondale CX bike onto a Camino AL frameset about 6 months ago – really like it for back laning / gravel / light offroad routes. Running 2x using std road Ultegra chainset – I then installed an SLX cassette and upgraded wheelset to Hunt gravels – kept to 700c running Gravel King 38’s. Rolls along real nice now.

£2k seems cheap if you get that complete HoloDeck installation included

I’ve used powerline in the past and was ok ish – recently starting using google mesh – have to say its superb if a little pricey

Yeah I run nano 40’s tubeless on 700c Cannondale disk 2.0 rims – and yeah was quite an effort – ended up having to use a metal dh lever to get them on.

Yeah _ recently dumped VM as they were getting pricey and instead went for an all data SIM on Three – works fine and that’s with 2 kids streaming to multiple devices + HD tv + wife and myself on tablet/laptop – have to say I’m pretty happy at the mo

My first car was a MK1 XR2 – loved it but it literally rusted away in real time

Try using Tree Tea oil after each shower – I do and it seems to keep the undercarriage working well

yeah I initially signed up and used them for a couple of months but:
– the top of the razor seemed too big as I found shaving under the nose difficult
– I would need to replace the blade every week – when I use Gillette blades they last ages

I work from home quite a lot (and do suffer from bad posture) got one of these:

hmmm…used to use it all the time as used to get the occasional fungal infection “downstairs” (which was usually a bu**er to get rid of) – last time that happened I stopped talcing and it went away quickly – wondering if it can sometimes turn into grinding paste ?

So don’t use it anymore – I now get the area completely dry post shower and then apply Tree Tree oil – seems to do the trick for me.

I frankly find it just bizarre how much of a PITA it is to upload images here – surely its a core piece of functionality for a forum?

Specialized Langster ally track bike – stiffer than RSJ’s

Have both my kids on Three unlimited data contracts (£20 p.m.) after a massive bill from Vodafone – decent service, no worries about unexpected bills and they can stream as much as they like. Also, if the home broadband ever goes down I will not have to deal with a “major crisis” ! :)

Had been with Virgin for 10+ years – service was good although expensive and their std router was somewhat weak – anyhows, have just moved over to using a Three unlimited sim ( £20in a month) and a TP-Link TL-MR6400. I also bought the Google mesh wifi home system but the router seems plenty powerful enough on its own. So far no issues, and for context I have 2 kids who constantly stream (sometimes on concurrent devices each…jeez) but can still stream to TV whilst they hammer the bandwidth. So far… v pleased.

For sea-kayaking can recommend the following:
-Day trip around the summer isles
-Camping out for a couple of nights on Torsa
-Circuit of Ulva including Gometra (Mull)
-Uisken to Fionphort (Mull)
