Yes I have one and thinks it’s superb – syncs fine with my android phone – and s/w is easy to use – decent battery life and screen easy to read in daylight (as compared to using my phone)

Will get a sneaky ride in tomorrow AM after presents and pre meal on the SS CX. Will then no doubt drink too much wine and end up going for my (now) traditional death walk to sober up.

Fat bikes are actually, quite ace
    Trail centres are boring
I miss getting properly lost now we have GPS / digi mapping
    Mudguards are for the weak
Ditto for using a turbo trainer
Stems that are angled up make any bike look totally ****
That Steve Jones fella does my head in
Anodising is still totally cool (but with a certain amount of discretion)
Land access or rather lack of it is just wrong – we need an uprising

And deffo agrees on bar-ends – esp those Cane Creek ones

Does ACF-50 have a detrimental effect ? Started my fat bike on the beach and use ACF-50 after washing to help keep any corrosion at bay on the Hope hubs.

I use mine for mild off-road local training ride – goes well enough – fairly comfy ( due to steel I guess) – run 35c WTB CrossBoss – single speed means very little maintenance and good for fitness.

Been using the DHB winter gloves recently and they’re great

Not used in the wet though…

    Yep 3/10 at best.
What I wanted: Edwardian Steam Punk military ( dreadnoughts / big field guns etc) v Martian mechanised tripods.
What I got: Some romantic wishy washy crap with soap opera production values.

I guess its either Fuji Instax or Polaroid Originals – and yeah the film is pretty pricey.

Your other choice would be getting an original Polaroid, say SX-70 and getting new film for that from Polaroid Originals. Problem is that they have a tendency to die – my Spectra did after a handful of goes.

Before moving to winter boots I used thin neoprene socks so getting wet feet wasn’t much of a problem.

@paulo – yeah that’s the stuff and although it does say burns hotter deffo doesn’t seem to work for me – in a closed Morso burner

    @ElShalimo
    – yeah a good point – but I guess burning less bad stuff is still worse than burning more of the good stuff? hmm..not sure.

Ah yes good point – I’ve tried smokeless, and some blended “coal” which is half smokeless / half some other renewable stuff

I was on a train from Oslo to Bodo (going to Lofoten Islands), after a couple of hours tickets gets checked – guard then checks teenager guy next to us – no ticket – heated discussion follows – next thing the train stops as some kind of halt, not a station by any means, just a place to stop, genuinely in the middle of nowhere, and the teenager gets lobbed off into the wilderness – jeepers , those guys take it seriously

Yes Yes that Manitou FRS – Marin did a copy I think for their pro team – was super gorgeous
…and almost forgot…that Pace square tubed frame – also very nice

I used the Revoloop ones (look very similar) on my fat bike before going tubeless. I also had an issue with one of them where air was slowly leaking out the valve – bit of grease sorted that – disappointing though considering the price – but they are WAY WAY lighter –
