Nah, he’ll easily be able to blame the EU for everything, whip up even more anti-EU sentiment and he’ll still be the Tory hero.

    Unfortunately, this.

I’ve just booked to go to Vancouver this Summer with the family and drive down to Portland to stay with friends. Nothing more to add at this point but I’ll update with our experience. We are also visiting Whistler and various other riding spots around the Pacific NW.

Now hold on. I’m a die-hard remainer but not all leavers voted so for vile reasons, and to call them such is really not good. And you cannot justify being a dick to leavers just because they are leavers.

Get a grip, for goodness’ sake.

Eh? The vile comment was a response to Cinnamon Girl calling dannyh vile, entirely unjustifiably in my opinion. If you are going to call out my use of language then make sure you’re even handed with others that used it first.

Frankly, I don’t really care if you call me a dick, or threaten a ban, or think I need to get a grip. I’ve sat with my wife in tears worried she’ll be subject to abuse for being a foreigner, or even worse worried that our kids will be. My concern is for her and my kids, not what your opinion of me is.

I’m sure leavers are happy to have you leap to their defence on a mountain bike forum, but whether they like it or not voting to leave has (unintentionally in many cases I’m sure) lent a voice to more extreme factions of society, regardles of their reasons for putting a tick in the leave box.

I have a few Finnish friends, yes, they ain’t my spouse etc but I can tell you many Finnish don’t think exactly like you think they are. They are trying to comply with the EU system but they are not that happy put it this way, they can bear with it but for how long we don’t know. For Finland they join EU partly because they just want to keep a safe distance from their mortal invaders from the east.

And this sums up Brexiters in a nutshell. You know a few Finns apparently that aren’t happy with the EU, well I know or I am related to hundreds that will call that utter bollocks.

Is that the best you can do @dannyh ?

You really are a vile individual.

You don’t get to be offended by someone pointing out the stupidity of voting for Brexit, especially if it negatively impacts your quality of life. I’m fed up of leavers acting all butt hurt because they don’t like us nasty remainers pointing out that you broke it, you own it.

I’ll tell you who can be offended by Brexit, my Finnish wife who no longer feels welcome in this country amid an increasingly nationalistic and right wing populist nation, or even me, an owner of a business that that exports the vast majority of its services and STILL doesn’t know what financial impact this absolute bit of a mess will have on my business and employees.

It’s not vile to point out the stupidity of voting for Brexit, it’s vile to have voted for it in the first place, and legitimised the nasty, insular racist rhetoric that factions of the media and the English population now feel emboldened to spread.

2.2kg lost here too. At this rate, I’ll weight zero by Christmas!

I’m under no illusion that the weight will continue to drop at this rate, but it’s a nice start.

For that price they must be thinking that someone with the Money, Money, Money will Take a Chance on Me.

Hmm, better than nothing, but I’d still be peeved that I was out of pocket over a legitimate lifetime warranty (registered or not) claim.

Isn’t the offer the same as Silverfish initially suggested before The silliness over the warranty registration?

Having just done the Fort William Endurance downhill, I can testify the WC course certainly takes it out of you. I would also suggest a certain level of confidence is required to ride it well.

Anyone else suspicious that the OP is the only one to have received it? When should we expect them?

    POSTED 2 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

Yes, mine came at the weekend, it’s exactly what I was hoping it would be, to be honest. I’ve been good and put it away until my holiday in August They need to up their sticker game though 😀

I think that’s pretty shoddy tbh. For the sake of clarity, how long before the warranty claim did you register it?

I purchased a phone case from there for my daughter. Postage was about 7x the cost of the case (the case was v cheap!) and it took an age to come, but both of those facts were clear from the offset.

[/quote]“Speaking to the rider on Monday, he told us he had been nudged down a bank off the side of the singletrack by another rider and felt terrible when he realised where he was. He claimed he hated seeing French lines at the EWS, and that he had probably only gained 15 places”.

    😀

I;ve done the Mega twice now, if you count the second time I came off the mountain on a stretcher. I’d say the final is my least favourite part of the week, I really enjoy practising the courses, quali’s and the general atmosphere and social aspect of a load of mountain bikers on the side of a big hill together. I don’t think you can understand the draw unless you’ve done it. I spent the weekend at Fort William for the Endurance Downhill and throughout just wished I was at AdH.

I think if he came forward with an apology and admitting cheating in the heat of the moment people would move on, but the silence is deafening. It doesn’t help that in that second video you can clearly see both Bryceland and Sam Hill stuck in the traffic he cut.

Wonder why it’s been removed? Lad is a ‘Focus’ team rider…pretty stupid doing something so obvious in the age of Go Pro! What a plank

The article is still on the Dirt website, so I suppose its down to the comments on the Facebook video.

Pretty much agree with your post deviant, except I can’t see Gee bouncing back or Brosnan taking the top step at any WC races. I’ll also throw a hat in the ring for Luca Shaw, it will be interesting to see if teaming up with Minaar can raise his game. I’m also looking forward to seeing Finn Iles in the seniors.

So speaking to her to date hasn’t changed things. What are you doing to make her change her behaviour more in line with your desires?”

What I wouldn’t do is divorce her because of dirty dishes and leave our kids to deal with the fallout.

P.S. Is anyone else having problems quoting?

Building up a brand new Cannondale CAAD10 Disc frame, installed fork with headset and stem in place and marked where I needed to cut the steerer with a sharp knife. Cut steerer at mark, only to reinstall and find the headset had made an identical score line a good 5cm below the line I should’ve cut at. It was a Black Inc frame too, so Cannondale couldn’t immediately supply a replacement fork. I ended up buying a second frameset for the fork, and selling the rest on eBay. That was my most costly bike servicing mistake.

Could it be something like this?

Customers are receiving calls from individuals claiming to be from British Telecom (or BT Open Reach).
The caller claims that there is a technical problem with your router or related equipment.
The customer is asked to download software such as TeamViewer, which allows the caller to take control of your computer remotely. This is supposedly to help with the diagnosis of the problem.
Customers are subsequently asked to log-on to Bankline and pay a small fee to BT to cover the cost of the technical support.
However, the fraudster will then use TeamViewer to take control of the session, create additional payments, and trick you into disclosing smartcard codes to authorise the transactions.
You should be suspicious of any unsolicited calls from individuals claiming to represent BT.
Do not follow any instructions from the caller such as installing software, visiting a website or initiating a Bankline session.
Furthermore, you should not allow the caller to remotely take control of your computer.
If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a call, then terminate it.
Look up BT contact numbers from their website or correspondence such as a recent telephone bill, and seek their advice as to whether the call you received was genuine.
If you have received such a call and are concerned that you may have disclosed confidential information such as smartcard codes, then please contact the Bankline Helpdesk immediately.

I bagged a set of 7Mesh Recons in the Evans sale, pricey without a discount but they’re the best shorts I’ve ever worn. The cut is long and tapered at the back of the knee, brilliant shorts.

I bought a Mondraker Summum off Pink Bike in late 2015. Its was in great condition and I thought a bit of a bargain. As tpbiker says,as long as you can sort the wheat from the chaff (and I would recommend looking over the bike in person before committing to buy) there are some good deals on DH bikes on Pink BIke.

Yep, very wet last night and the tree felling on the tops is making a bit of a mess. It rides well in the wet anyway, being largely armoured trail.
