Edric, don’t do it. These resellers are the reason that tickets are so hard to get hold of in the first place. Become a member of the club for about £30 a year, as the club run their own fan exchange for returns from people who can’t make the game. I got a ticket yesterday for the Spurs game on Monday at face value, and tickets for the Carling Cup Semi Final against City were also on general sale. In the past couple of years I have been to Premiership, Cup and European games on my member card. by the time you factor in the £30 membership and ticket price, it still works out about £30 cheaper than getting a ticket through a reseller such as the one you mention!

I’d venture a shop, but I’m guessing you already knew that. Unless you are just a bit thick.

To be fair, the only issue I had with the ad was overuse of the word awesome. Nice response though Kingkernow.

When will you be there Chickadee? I’m currently sat in Atlanta airport waiting for a connecting flight to San Francisco for a conference.

Can someone point me in the direction of the original thread that spawned Volvo for Sale please, I missed it but for some reason think it had something to do with Surf Matt and heated mirrors.

I got an email from Treeline Chalets yesterday offering a week in Morzine fully catered for 250 quid per person, if you can go on 15th Jan. The email also stated SleazyJet flights to Geneva were available for 60 return for the same dates. Bargain!

Do they work for bike shops that are feeling the pinch due to people using their shop as a dressing room then buggering off and buying online?

Apparently that Merlincycles link is incorrect. I emailed earlier this week asking which version of the Stylo it is they have for sale, and they confirmed it was the 2011 version which is hollow formed and lighter. I had pushed the button on a RaceFace Deus XC in he meantime otherwise I would have had one myself.

My new York one was spotted because. The thief went for the signing option. Apparently this is so rare now they check each one.

Strange they viewed as suspicious, the ask you to sign a slip regularly still in the USA.

I was told a Krankie story a couple of years ago which was utterly disgusting and hilarious in equal amounts. I have told it to numerous people over the last couple of years and I had so many texts today from peeps who remembered it when this came out, and took it as confirmation the story was true. 🙂

Sorry, I thought you meant it was the first time riding the new black. Yes,easy to find and well signposted. You can see the woodwork as you approach the start of the trail.

The new black starts just before the Twins and is very good. Nothing will catch you out, just enjoy it.

Shame, I like driving our 9-3, and our other car is a Volvo so I guess we are fans of Swedish cars (not too surprising as my wife is Finnish).

I rode The new stuff for the second time on Saturday, this time on my hardtail and thought it was much better. Maybe due to being slightly familiar with the trail and preemptive shifting helping with the steep little climbs.

    This thread is an eye-opener…

Will be joining you all in a little over a month. Book me a space.

Get all the sleep in now you possibly can Bullheart, you will never wake up and see 8 something on the clock again. Also, be prepared to walk around work humming the theme tune to Me Too

Told you I’d be here. 5am for me, my little one tried every trick in the book to break the 6am rule this morning. She needed water, then a tissue, then developed a mystery tummy ache and finally resorted to the old classic but still effective scream the house down. I canno wait for her to become a teenager and I can exact revenge. I can wait little one.

Pace were a terrible company to deal with regarding warranties 10 years ago. I cannot comment on the customer service standards of the current regime as the previous experience was enough to put me off for life. DT Swiss unfortunately suffers from guilt by association. O

I have found a good nights sleep and no alcohol during the week works wonders for my focus. As above, I used to have real problems motivating myself to work but now I really have to (a child, wife and mortgage are great motivators!) the fallout of not putting in 100% would be rather severe. Try setting yourself mini goals, 90 minutes of non-stop work earns you 10 in Singletrack etc…
