Bloody hell, £26. I like the idea of the camera mount area on top. Has anyone tried one?

Not windy in Chester. There will be wind going around the edge of a high pressure and you can get a convection breeze on the coast and near mountains.

True Story: a couple of years ago we were recruiting for an Office Manager and a certain recruitment consultancy (who have a somewhat ‘angelic’ reputation) kept sending us cv’s, of poor candidates may I add. One the the consutants at this firm decided she would like the job so contacted us directly for an interview. We liked her and offered her the job, which she accepted. A few weeks later we received an invoice from the consultants for their services in placing her with us! We obviously refused to pay a d it got quite nasty, with them threatening court action. Bunch if chancers.

This is an absolute **** joke. How can he get away with such a leniant sentence after killing a cyclist through a momentary loss of concerntration for a SECOND **** TIME! If I had accidentally killed a cyclist because my mind drifted away from the very important task of not hitting someone with my two tonne metal box, you can be assured I would never, ever ‘momentarily lose my concerntration’ whilst driving EVER AGAIN.

rode penmachno instead, what an utterly joyless trail, the only place i’ve been where you climb on singletrack to descend on fire roads, only 1.5 of the 20 miles are enjoyable.
Really? Penmachno is one of my favourite trails despite breaking my collarbone last time out, super rocky, remote natural feeling and 90% singletrack.

Your description sounds more like Marin.

This. I love Penmachno (and hate fire roads!), I don’t recall any fire road descents. It is very, very wet 90% of the time but I think its a great trail.

I can see it being VERY busy this weekend if the weather holds!

Great news for the One Planet guys though, must have really hurt them being shut over Easter and no access to the trails since.

Must be contacts on it so look for ‘home’. Don’t understand the ‘photos coming up on your pc’ when you plugged it in. Something doesn’t ring true on this one.

Connecting an Apple device to a PC does usually bring up the photo view options.

However if you are unfamiliar with an iPod or iOS, I’m assuming you dont’t own any Apple devices so how did you happen to have a charger for it?

Eaten horsemeat in France and Scandinavia. A bit chewy, but tasty. I really don’t know why so many people are up in arms over horsemeat in their burgers etc. It’s really no big deal.

What do they think happens to the faller at the third in the 3.30 at Chepstow?

The problem is that some European countries breed horses to be eaten, then there is the horse meat that enters the food chain illegally, knackered horses bred for training or racing and such. These horses can be full of nasty things like steroids to encourage increased muscle growth and such. Not something I want to be eating.

Had an absolutely gorgeous reindeer stew in Finland. Didn’t know they ate horse there though, always assumed horse was more a France/Italy/Spain kind of thing.

Its a Russian style sausage actually, but they do produce it in Finland. Yes, reindeer stew is one of the dishes the Finn’s, and particular the Lappish are very proud of, Reindeer is a very healthy meat too. They also eat meatballs from bear, through these are considered a delicacy and due to restrictions on hunting bears I have yet to come across them. Looking forward to tucking in when I do though!

I had a set of RC40’s bought direct from Pace. They seized up after two rides. Pace said it was most likely down to lack of servicing and it wouldn’t be warranty, they were 2 weeks old. I vowed never to buy anything from them again. They were a good fork for the first hour of ownership though!

Surely it is up to UKPC to prove your wife didn’t use the shops in question, and how can they do that. I’d get the retailers involved, email their head office stating you boughts goods from them and have now been issued a ticket, and can they offer you a reproduction of the till receipt otherwise you will be forced to shop elsewhere. You can narrow down the time, so the shop manager shouldn’t have a huge problem finding the transaction.

I could almost forgive the drugs on the grounds that everybody did it and as he said, it was like air in your tyres.

But I could never forgive the bullying and the nasty vindictive attacks…. “Mr Kimmage I wouldn’t even wipe my shoe on you……”

This. The difference between Armstong and other cheats is the way he treated Bassons, Simeoni, Betsy Andreu, Emma O’Reilly, Greg Lemond, Paul Kimmage, David Walsh, Mike Anderson and many others. He sued them, threw insults like whore, crazy bitch, poisonous and duplicit all the time knowing they were right and he was wrong. He destroyed Greg Lemond’s business, he forced Mike Anderson to emigrate and he effectively ended the career of Bassons and Simeoni. Jacques Anquetil shagging his way around friends and family is nothing in comparison to what Armstrong has done.
