I have also bought from the same seller. Excellent service. I’m sure you will be fine.

Where are they leaking oil from e.g. the hose, the banjo joint, the pistons etc? I maybe just a case of doing something up?

The big bottle of fox oil I have says Fuchs on the cap. It’s good stuff. Just buy that.

Unless you actually want to stop, you won’t. And when you do it will be much easier that you think. I must have attempted stopping at least 7 or 8 times and didn’t because I actually wanted a cigarette, so I carried on smoking. It’s been about 5 years since I stopped. Basically I’m I still a smoker who hasn’t smoked for a while.

Good luck, it is worth it.

My series one Intense Slopestyle. I discovered new levels of bravery hitherto unheard of at Dans160 Towers. I now have an M9 for the big stuff and the SS is now my everything else bike. It’s nearly perfect but could do with being a tad lighter but until Intense make one out of Carbon fibre that aint going to happen.

They are winding me up as well. Over a week now waiting for one order were the part was showing in stock and is now not. I was promised two days ago that it was about to be sent. Madly I ordered some stuff today from them but paid the extra charge for 24 hours delivery. Still processing and no response to emails.

Ah well. Good luck with your hoses.

    Here are mine:

    and

Both are straight and neither do any of the bolts fall out on account of fitting them properly. 😉

Great news, how was it found etc? If you are able to tell?

No issues with mine. Used them for DH through last winter and now as my spares when the mavics decide to disassemble themselves again. A bit on the heavy side but seem strong with a decent engagement on the rear.

Started off high and at 710mm with a 70mm stem. Now lower at 745mm with a 55mm stem. Much better but did it in small steps.

My non ust 2.5 Minion 3c exo skin blah d’ blahs are fine on my crossmax sxs. I used some stans and so far all good.

About to try some Schwalbe Dirt Dan 2.35s on my M9 with Stans. I’ll see how they hold up at the weekend assuming they arrive tomorrow.

Cleaning my bikes at night in the cold in readiness for the next ride. Thankfully, so far, it’s not been so bad. And the other thing that really bugs me are people worrying about the type of bike they ride, along the lines of “I’ve just bought x and have ridden it once and decided that it’s too much bike for me because I might be tempted into doing something silly or I only ride at trail centers and all the magazines say I only need a singlespeed 29er with no suspension” If you like it, just ride it.

Oh, and why is it so bloody expensive!?

And in the flip side. Mine have been fine, and still are.

Don’t use enduro bearings. Use SKF, they last much longer.

Note that on the SS1 you can fit a font mech and it has a full length seat tube and routing for an uppy downy post. SS2 looks great though!

    Does it look like this:

If it does then it is an Intense Slopestyle, otherwise it’s an Intense 6.6.

You can find out about Intense frames here including the SS2: http://www.intensemountainbikes.com/cms/

The Slopestyle frame does not often come up for sale but 900 sounds allot. What shock does it have?

BTW, if it’s the above then it will be bloody brilliant! I’ve put a reverb on mine now and just use it for trail riding and it’s still bloody brilliant. Over kill, yes, but I don’t care!

Other than it’s dark I fail to see what the issue is i.e. it’s no different than riding during the day. The trails don’t just suddenly change at night or at least the ones I ride don’t. If anything, it’s safer as there are less other moving things to hit like walkers and mad dogs, small children etc. Plus, you can see other bikers coming more easily.

Obviously the werewolves are an issue but a couple of bonios usually keeps them in check.

The wind today was blowing right up the centre of the A-line, the final jump being to left and side on to the gusts That was fun. Not.

I had a brilliant time today, managed to get some digging done, helped some lad pump his tire up, nailed an old run but with some new tech additions, re-visited another older run that felt great and rode the big a-line about 5 times before the rain hit.

Love mine. I run it with a Bos Stoy on the back and it climbs pretty well IMHO. A dropper post has made a huge difference to it’s all day abilities and it even has the cable routing for one. Do not be put off, they are excellent bikes and mine is still in one piece. My pivot bolts have never fallen out. I’m still not sure how people manage to do that, either that or I’m lucky.

    Cheers Folks.

No cracks Hugor or indeed wayward bolts, although I’m not convinced by the CCDB on the back, but it does need a service. 🙂

It was entirely deliberate that my wheels left the ground. It’s actually good fun but does take getting used to.

Use them on both my bikes with no issues at all. Just grease everything up (don’t be stingy) and that includes the bearing race that sits inside the gold coloured cup. You’ll understand that bit when you get one.

I bought mine from the USA via ebay for about £140 new delivered.

Email them and see what they say. They treated me very well when I had an issue with a stem a few years back.

Can I have it when you get back? I reckon I can get the pivot bolts to stay in.

    Seriously, enjoy Aus.

I assume you meant ‘compared to the UK’ BTW.

    Internet forums….unbiased…. Oh dear God.

PS if you still have that 6.6 hanging on the wall in your garage/shed/wherever it’s kept at Hugor Towers, can I have it?
