I can vouch for the tracer being superb. Although I appear to be alone in thinking that the series 1 slopestyle is better. It just IS!

£700 better than the Heckler, mmm, not sure. If you can afford it I don't think you would be disappointed though.

Sorry not much help at all.

I've had two sets of Marz forks: 04 Z1 Freerides; made of pig iron but worked brilliantly and a pair of anniversary Z1 Bombers. Both brilliant and their ETA system is by far the easiest and most useful. Currently using 2010 Van 36RC2s which are great but one of the stantions is already marked from top to bottom due to the crummy seals. Nice and smooth though.

The new 55s look great but the price is frightening.

    Angus! Angus!

Big argument between Me and the Mrs. First born son, Me: Angus, Her: Zak after the lead from RATM.

I have a Les Paul and they're a heavy. Just sold an Ibanaz Jem 77 FP to help pay for the current bike. I miss that one.

That does look nice. Something about the original spots…

Just under three hours in the mud, sleet, rain and ice. Lots of fun and managed a couple of local DH runs at the end. I was feeling brave.

You should have bought Panaracer Trailrakers.

    Sorry.

Or Maxxis Swampthings (single ply 2.35s super tacky up front 60a out back)

Not that I pay much attention to tires…. Nooo, not me.

They used to play his videos at Level 3 in Swindon. I'd be in the middle of the dance floor watching while all around me people were killing themselves to RATM.

I was rubbish on a BMX though.

Well, yesterday was my 38th birthday which meant a day off of work and time to do as I pleased. So off I went to the local downhill runs. None of the jumps are massive the largest being about a 4 foot drop off the further you fly and that is fine. On one of the other runs there is a small gap jump (3foot) I finally managed that, then there is a drop off into a steep almost immediate left hand berm, that took two attempts followed by four more jumps and some decent fast bends. Point being, I just decided that I needed to be brave. I checked each jump out, worked out where I should hit it and just rode off of them. It was fine. A few issues with feet leaving pedals but really it never seems as bad as you think.

However, my technique is probably rubbish so will be calling on Jedi once the weather sorts itself out to pay me a visit either in Essex or Rogate.

Post a message here, you will probably get a response from someone at Intense:

What drives me nuts is that the M960 was a dream to fit and remove, very simple. The newer and apparently better M970 is utter sh1te to fit and remove. A massive step backwards IMHO. Looks alright though.

Get some Fogtech. It does actually work.

KCNC. Work well and I have no idea if they were noisier than the originals or not.

I'd sold to him before and all was fine plus I had proof of the transfer. I just didn't do the 'sums' until it was too late.

This is my current plan. I will leave it a few days and then email him again before I start down the naming and shaming route.

In fact he was last active on the other forum I use 4hours ago so would have received the message I sent him.

    Marge, you are correct.

I've also contacted him via another forum which he has been active on.

No phone number. I have an email address, bank account details and what I presume is a home address.

The shortfall is nothing to do with the transfer. It has been calculated and admintted that it was not transferred in the first place.

    Thanks folks!

I suspect that you are right. I had thought of calling the police local to where he lives and seeing what they had to say but I can't really see how that would help other than making me feel better.

There were no fees. The amount paid in Euros translates to exactly the amount paid into my bank account using the exchange rate my bank used when the money arrived.

I promise you, I am owed £50 by this guy.

Agreed in pounds. I lost some due to the exchange rate which has been accounted for. No PayPal fees money was sent by IBAN. I am definately missing £50. This has been agreed by the buyer who has said they would pay up and so far they have not, emails not being answered etc.

Yes, posted and arrived. £50 missing from what should have been £1425. So £1375 received.

Yes, but you have to sand part of the outer face of the bash guard out to get it to fit.

Don't talk to me about Salsa QRs! The first sign of mud and they resist nearly all efforts to clamp back up again. Complete pants. Post doesn't slip though, to be fair.

Chris Bling ISOs on one and they are wonderful. Hope Pro 2s on the another which are excellent, I don't mind the noise and for the money if the bearings give up after some months of abuse I don't really care as they can be replaced quite easily.

No idea, but when you find out let me know. If I'm solvent enough I might have it off of you. This is unlikely though, the solvent thing that is.

That frame looks lovely. However, just imagine slipping off of the saddle onto the crossbar just as the suspension compresses moving the link up into your bum or worse man bits and then taking them with it as it returns. Ouch.

If you follow the link here http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-parts-clearout-thomson-easton-xtr-avid you will find a link to some pics of one that I am selling at the moment. And yes it is still on the bike.

All was well again with tonights ride and it looks like we made it back just before the snow arrived. I did have to chisel the front mech free but everything else had thawed.

Yeah, mine did that this morning. The locks joined them.

MK1 Vauxhall Chavalier 1600. I crashed that thing so many times and each time my Dad helped/made me rebuild it, even after a lorry ran into it on the M4 one night. It needed the tappets doing after virtually every drive. Happy days.
