DMR V12s are good. Used them for years but I have just started using Point1 Podiums which are very nice indeed.

My three year can balance quite happily on her balance bike but was not so keen on her new pedal bike. I've put the stabilisers on until she gets 'pedaling'. She will get there in her own time, it's not a race and I don't want to rush so she ends up getting frustrated and hating it.

I had a big one today. High-sided after getting a berm a bit wrong and landed on a tree root with my right side. I know have an epic bruise and a swelling that looks not quite so. Docs for me on Monday I think.

    Good luck with the baby!

6months for me. But then I needed a steel plate and 6 screws and months of physio.

Don't bother until it is fully healed is my advice.

I have set of nearly new Hope Pro 2s laced to 719 rims with DT Swiss DB spokes. The hubs are blue and the front is a 20mm axle although you can get converters for other axles. Let me know if you are interested.

From J10 on the M25 head south down the A3. Go past Guildford and through Hindhead. A few miles after Hindhead turn off the A3 taking signs to Liphook. Once you are in Liphyook follow signs to Rake/Petersfield/Rogate etc. You should now be on the old A3, sorry but I forget the roads name. If you are still heading the correct way you should end up going through a sleepy through village called Rake. Stay on that road until after a few miles you see a Vauxhall garage on your left. Just after that is a turning on your left signposted Rogate. A pub called the Jolly Drover will be on the corner. Stay on that road until you reach a T juntion. At the T junction turn left. The Rogate trails will be on your left after about 100 yards. Enjoy!

    I will be there soon.

Here is mine. Weighs in at 33.6lbs with 2.35 single ply swampthings. The seatpost gets dropped for the fun stuff!

Best bike I have ever owned, it corners like a house fly! You will love it.

Ooo, turning right. I had that issue. Practice and watching DVDs like seasons and Dirt over and over again to see what they all do. Oh and relaxing on the bike and trying to stay off the brakes.

33.6lbs. Considering what it is, what it's capable of (shame about the owner at the moment) and just how damn quick it is that's pretty good.

You can make me an offer if you have not already bought some.

Cheers folks. The offending bit of grit was found and removed as soon as. I was more worried about the long term implications. It sounds as if I should probably look at an araldite solution or similar. Agree though that a good clean would be good and I may replace the seals with something better at the very least. Any suggestions?

Interesting. Tempted to convert as I may have to replace the crown assembly due to a stantion scratch and it's 'only' another 60notes for the Float gubbins you need to replace the spring. And my bike is a little weighty so needs to shed something somewhere.

I find the classifieds a bit of a mare at times. I've sold plenty of kit on here to plenty of good people but there are a few who have you taking and posting even more photos, measuring head angles and the like ( you know who you are ) and never getting back to you afterwards. Grrr.
