Yeah, so true (chat title) IMO. I find myself turning into a social media troglodyte; finally got off Facebook a year or 2 back and closed a/c on Twitter a few months back. Really miss F/B for a lot of local sports clubs etc but generally find out things from the neighbours if not a bit late … Yeah, there’s a lot to be said for trying to ignore things but it’s like the old golf analogue; if you’re not good at golf, leave your dirver in the boot and if you don’t trust yourself, leave the driver at home … ie. if you can’t trust yourself not to have a quick peak at the nay-sayers you promised not to look at, time to put them out of reach by closing accounts and deleting Apps. Just my opinion …

Interview on pinkbike from her a wihle back I think said yes it does – she starts on the 2nd row for the XCC and then that will determine where she starts on the Sunday.

And even younger young gun Mona Mitterwallner from Austria coming up to elite who’s only 20 could really upset the established young guns – she did a Nino and won every U23 world cup race last year and then went out and won the elite marathon world cup … another Loana?

I’ve been on Hutchinson Overide for 75:25 road:gravel for about 2 years and ~3000 kms so not huge distances and loving them. They seem to be bulletproof (touch wood), no issues at all and seem to be lasting well. Relatively cheap too – 35 smallest though if that’s not too big a squeeze.

@weeksy fully agree. Too many other publications have the LaPierre press release copied and pasted over. Refreshing to see someone read and then translate and analyse the standard bumf and threw in a bit of wit and light relief to boot!!

Yep – will gladly stick my name into this comp. – might have to squeeze feet into a few but as Hannah says free >> none almost every day of the week!!

Anyone every cycle with no socks in this new enlightened age (asking for a friend!)??!!

Agree with all above (Bens article that is not the above 50 quid comment (sorry)!), it seriously increases the scope of things the kids can/will cycle up and the extra weigh pulling them up the worst bits decreases the range I can go so that we’re all ready to head for home at the same time!! I find the best way to store it is to loop it around one shoulder and close it with the carabiner as if you holding a load ofclimbing rope.

18/30 – I seem to have got all the randomies right and the proper bikey ones like the bike frame images all wrong!!! Good quiz!

B-wing had my vote too . Good old admiral Ackbar and the Mon Calimari for coming up with that one (even made it into an episode of Rebels, which I only know as I was watching it …mmm with my kids!!!).

Got mine from LBS about 8 weeks ago; non-stock build with SRAM GX, DTSwiss wheels (Al not C) on Hope hubs and a few other bits and bobs. Not too far from standard, nothing wild and exciting – basically whatever the lads in the shop had available. Absolutely love it. I traded up/down from a 3yr old Giant Anthem 120/110mm full-sus so wasn’t doing anything hard-core on the old bike but the Yeti is so much more comfortable and enjoyable on all the same places 1-3 hour local rides. Did a 100km gravel spin on it too (on smaller than the stock 2.6 tyres) and was delighted with how it went around!

I have no issues with my Tow-whee dragging a laughing, not-peddling 7 year old up fire roads – I mount it to the fixed part of the dropper (rather than the slidey bit) and tolerate a bit of wheel buzz from the strap if it goes slack.
