Is it cheating if you are sys admin for the financial system in a mid sized hospital?

You’ll be ok, just don’t shout flare when you are 20 feet from the ground 🙂

RAM air’s at that size, without crazy wing loading and it should be possible to walk the landing off.

    How much do you weigh?

You can do formula based conditional formatting in the latest excel, so you could do it without the formula in F15

Probably makes sense to do it that way though.

Breakfast = Bacon & Sausage Cob (yes I am northern), and Coffee (americano with single origin 100% arabica probably Kenyan)

Lunch = Blue Cheese Salad, probably with chicken

Tea (again I am northern ;)) = Porterhouse, burnt to a crisp on outside bleeding like a haemorrhaging haemophiliac on the inside, Chips, French mustard etc. and some just baked bread. Good lager to wash it down with.

    Replaced a tube….

Got a bit excited on way home, thought commuting hard tail was ok for the “woods” way home. Not bothered with tubeless on commuter, pinch flat 1 mile in 🙁

Whilst I completely condone rape and any sort of sexual assault (just incase we get into the drunk lesbian discussion…..)

In a scenario where a man and a woman are both drunk, go back to bed, naked, have sex, wake up the next morning, woman claims rape.

Is it fair that a woman can claim she was raped and could not consent because she was drunk? How is a male supposed to identify that a woman is too drunk to consent? Have men got to start breathalysing women?

Good deals is relative, if you are looking at OLED, you are looking at £1600 minimum.

LG’s new 4K OLED TVs will be available starting at the end of August in Germany, Korea, the US and UK with the roll-out to continue over the next several months in select markets.

With a bit of luck this will see reduction in the price of the current models.

Probably best deal is get JL to price match and get their 5 year warranty?

The biggest problem with TV today (damn it I sound old), is the same issue that clouds modern photographic equipment.

It’s all about numbers that the average customer can understand, give me the choice between a 4k picture with 10Mb bitrate, and a 1080p picture with a 50Mb bitrate I know where my money would be. I am sure if you asked 100 customers in currys what the average bitrate of the programs they are watching is they would look at you like you had just grown horns.

LG55EC930V is my next set, hoping the price comes down when LG release their new OLED sets.

Rather have OLED than 4k at this point, there simply isn’t the content other than netflix and some random stuff on BT.

£80 worth of free bets should be netting you a around of £60

What you have done is specifically called dutching, although obviously not quite covering all eventualities.

No need to learn advanced shaving techniques or invest in fancy brushes or creams.

Using the Single Edge is simple. Here’s how:

    Lather

Use any method you prefer. We recommend the traditional way – with a high-quality brush and shave soap.

You can have my badger hair brush too… when you… you get the idea…

Hoping to do the technically challenging runs along….. the canal towpath…..

In my defence I am recovering (ruptured achilles) so can’t ride anything too exciting yet.

Will give the newly upgraded hardtail a run out though 🙂

I have one of those el cheapo chinese things, got it when they first came out on the slow boat from china, cost about £50

Just had a quick look on eBay and they are insanely priced now, £23 gets you a pair with batteries and mounts!

Might have to pick up an extra for helmet, my dad is after one too so a twin pack is a winner.

Vodafone are right up there, had no signal at all at work for 3 days, reported it first day. 3 days later and still the same, status on their network checker said …. nothing …. all good.

End of the 3rd day I got the face on with it and called our corporate account manager (threatening to cancel 200 lines had more impact than my personal one).

Weirdly enough 30 minutes later the website was updated to state “Planned Maintenance”…. yeah planned to fix it because it’s broken!

Tomato firmware based router, and some technical ability and you are away.

Separate VLAN for the kids, means decent interweb filtering with something like OpenDNS.

    Scheduled times for specific devices.

    Lots more options.

Longshot, have you made sure the NW is in place of the middle ring?

Only say this as I just rebuilt my Hardtail with 1×10 and made this error, took me a couple of minutes to figure why the chain line was so bad.

Do you need to use him as a reference? I would consider that before deciding what to reply with.

“Not quite worked out” isn’t grounds for dismissal. If he is making you redundant then that’s different but it makes it hard for them to replace you.

If you haven’t had anything written in terms of performance or competence then I would be tempted to fight it a little, but doubt you will get very far.

    Threaten to leave…

Customer retention means a lot to them. Did this last year and got a 10% offer immediately, still went through with it (30 days notice period), 3rd week got a 30% offer, still went through with it and they let me cancel….

Rejoin offer was on my sky webpage 10 minutes after they cancelled, 50% off for 12 months no contract.

Incoming pings? How are you supposed to prevent an incoming ping request? Other than letting NAT deal with it?

How is your laptop connecting to the internet? Are you doing anything fancy regarding DMZ or port forwarding?

Use it at work (system admin).

It’s….. an acquired taste. Really depends on how it’s implemented an what you want to use it for. The fact that you are calling it Aggress and not Unit 4 Business world speaks volumes about how up to date it is (they rebranded a while back).

    Anyone opinions on this?

Little more expensive, than the PCS10, but it’s only money right?

Think I would prefer a seatpost clamp type.

Ok, so sounds like a fairly good shout for either the PCS10 or the Tracx Spider.

Having never used a stand what the pros/cons of either design?

    =HLOOKUP(“YES”,D4:I$12,COUNT(D4:I$12),FALSE)

That’s definitely more graceful. Does it all in the formula and doesn’t require you to mucky the sheet with anything else. Allows fill down and will reduce the count as you move down.

    daniel_owen_uk

You could have also just filled the bottom row down 9 times and used your original formula, but again that’s a little bit ugly.

Check the outer cable route isn’t too tight, I have same setup, xt clutched and RAD cage, it feels incredibly light on the upshift, although I was coming from a battered, alivio mech with knackered cable so my view could be skewed a little.

No question RAW is the way forward, unless you are mega short on card storage.

Easier to salvage a crap shot with RAW.

I have used them across different rings before, depends on the quality of the wiring and what sort of speeds you need.

Couldn’t get more than 10Mbs on some “100Mbs netgear” ones.

I think it’s one of those things you won’t know till you try it. Lots of people will report success because they use them for a netflix 3Mbs feed.

Synology will allow a time capsule service.

At least I assume it will my cheap qnap does.

    daniel_owen_uk

Time capsule compatibility is of course essential if you are backing up macs

Personally I would look at something that can transode plex but that’s just me.

Other than that just get something with capacity fit for purpose, taking into account your choice of RAID.

I would go synology for home use.

    Not exactly a piece of advice but a nice anecdote;

Was building my first FS from a second hand frame and lots of bits that had slowly been upgraded on my hardtail.

Constant criticism from the old man, I wouldn’t do it like that…. ouhhh don’t round that etc.

To be fair the old man has an electrical and engineering background and can put his hand to most things. Anyway to stave off the constant criticism I said “here put this on”, gave him a seat and layback seatpost (how bad can you mess that up right?).

Finished the bike, not a single glitch, quick test ride, something didn’t feel right, seat angle was a mile off…. no it wasn’t he fitted the seat back to front.

He got some abuse for that!

Whilst I wouldn’t recommend it, simply because in my work it wouldn’t cut it, open office will do that vast majority of tasks for most people.

    And it’s free

I’d definitely recommend getting out on the hardtail as soon as you can, it’s what kept me sane! Take it you’re out of plaster and in an Aircast boot or similar. I did manage a few short rides with the boot on in the early days!

    Yup, boot with wedges.
