I doubt I'd use them again, ordered some forks on Tuesday lunchtime £650 and was told they would be despatched immediately, nothing came Wednesday, chased them today and was told they despatched them yesterday (Wednesday) on next day delivery, they gave me a tracking number that doesnt exist and telephone number for a courier that nobody answers and yet again no delivery today.

Absolute rubbish and I paid £10 for a delivery that is yet to take place

So either they are liars, or they use cr@p couriers

I bought some 2nd hand wheels off him a few weeks back. Very good price and no problems. They took around a week to arrive but other than that all was fine. I'd buy from him again. If i recall he was working away a bit so sometimes he may vanish off email for a few days. I wouldn't worry too much, i'm sure you'll get your gear, it may just take a few more days. Hope that helps reassure you a bit.

    Cool, thanks!

Put my oldest on an OK Orion BABY seat http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/OK_Baby_Orion_Child_Seat/5360032134/ when she was 13 months and went proper trail riding in Surrey, she loved it, pic is when I first plonked her on.

She's now approaching three and loves sitting on the LOCT on my SX trail or Enduro (they come on/off very easy)

Given its the front wheel, whats the worst that could happen?

It kept most of the crap off me and as they dont make one and it it cost me £3 or £4 its good

Its not fixed firmly in place and you can push it closer to the tyre

Now I think about it I had something similar on my leg when it was crushed as a kid, that took a few years to correct itself, oh well!

    Scoot, as said before

Comes with two seat posts of different lengths for when the child grows and comes with a brake as standard

Use the first website I posted to give you a price and then buy locally http://www.rehauauthorisedpartners.co.uk/ for less if you can

Plastic no maintenance though, horses for courses, some people wont want to sand down and treat their door every few years

    Timber does look nicer though

Ive just ordered three windows and a back door for less than £800 delivered and inc VAT, so £700 will be £350 plus their mark up, often the seller buys from someone else, mine have been bought from a company in Surrey but I have found out they buy from a factory in Kent that doesnt deal with the public or builders only glazing companies

    I had three prices
£800 inc vat (accepted credit cards)
    £940 no vat/cash only*
    £1100 no vat/cash only*

    * no warrenty either probably

All using the same profiles, so it pays to shop around

Theres loads of companies on line, heres one: http://www.uktradeframe.co.uk/quoter_doors_2.php

No manufacturer will deal with you direct as all they do are manufacture the extrusions, a fabricator will then use the extrusions and add the glass

Rehau is a pretty good brand

I've fitted a few doors and windows at home, dead easy if you are ok with DIY, measuring, you just take the smallest dimension in an opening ie if its 905mm wide at the top and 899 at the bottom, then the size you order is 889mm (smallest – 10mm for the silicone)

I wouldnt for one reason only, poor rear clearance for a 2.3, if you use 2.1's then fine

True, but with berms you could go even faster

I like most of the new bits on YP inc your berm at the end, not impressed with the non bermed bits before the pointless mini table though

The parts that go around the wet spots are great though

I agree, BKB used to be better, never great, but better

It was you that bummed me wasnt it Mr Evans

Yep, do you think if I shaved my legs, got lubed up and bought an Epic I'd be able to get to your standard

    Dango

njee20, I've just read your advice on leg shaving:

It's easier for massage, if you use warm up oil or anything, it stops mud sticking to your legs, and it makes your legs look more toned. It's a fair bit of faff to keep them looking nice though, every day or two.

Warm up oil, WTF, who do you think gives a sh1t if your legs look toned, was it you that got bummed at Deliverance?

Have you actually seen the video, you should

Keef, do you still suffer from skids too?

    Dango
    Free Member

No, you're right, obviously, locking your brake on all the way down a trail, is good for your tyre and fantastic for the trail, cool

    Dango
    Free Member

What I cant understand is, whether they are just trying to skid (fakenger style), aren't able to control their brakes, or are just really scared?

    Dango
    Free Member

Really, not because people ride with their back wheel fully locked, what like a landslip, but smaller?

    Dango

Maybe you could coach them to ride properly and responsibly?

Must have been some other old and slow riders then, sorry for the confusion. 😛

Richard, a female rider commented on another forum:

Who is Richard Sear? Just watched that video he did on the Downs of about a million middle aged men with their back wheels completely locked, dragging the sh1t out of what was probably a very nice trail.

    😆
