Its an auto refund to the buyer once they can prove a parcel was sent and recieved. Hopefully ebay will stop the refund

All I’m trying to do here is create some awareness.

Make sure you take lots of pics of product/packaging etc when selling

Ive had many 100’s of transactions so far without issue (mainly buying though) there is always a scumbag out there who is willing to try it on though

I sold them for £295 + 10 for carraige, so if they get the refund, they have the dollar and the forks, hence the £600 loss

The younger me would have taken a visit, the grown up me with a wife and kids cant as I have their address as much as they have mine

    Pretty sh1t though

Had one for a couple of weeks now on my new enduro. Initially I missed the reverb I had previously but a few rides in now, I’ve adjusted to it. I’m sure it’ll be easier to service and also repair the lever/cable if it gets smacked. I always dreaded binning the bike before with the reverb button costing so much

I put my crank in with a rubber mallet, first ride there was some resistance from the bearings, now it’s freed up.

    Pretty common if you google

Just don’t get, if I were in the same situation, I would have got it back to the owner within 2-3 days of getting back to blighty with a tenner inside to say thanks and to buy a bottle wine

Guess not everyone out there is wired up the same

So should I get another, an osprey raptor or something else?

    What is your main bike?

I have a dh bike and enduro, have ridden both at those venues and the later was more fun

Might be worth looking at new forks and rubber/wheels unless you plan to ride full on DH abroad in mountains

Yep as above and if you don’t like their artistic take on your request find someone else

I’d love to get something by the guys at White Dragon in Belfast but don’t live in Ireland and there is an 18month waiting list 🙁

When I first saw the stuff near the steps I thought oh dear, having seen the bit near the tower, I think it looks a lot of fun.
Nice to see some new trails that hold something for all riders. Seeing the image above I can imagine a ‘nodder‘ rolling over that real slow and still having a big smile on their face (Hora – someone like you) Or a very experienced rider (DMR boys/Bren) gapping the lot

If it keeps the masses off the unsanctioned stuff and reduces rider/pedestrian conflict in busy areas it can’t be a bad thing

Richard/Glen and anyone else involved, I salute you 😀

    Breezy = Deviant

Protection = Troy Lee D2/D3 or POC or something you’ll be told by others shortly

Most important, try on and buy what fits properly

It wouldnt be hard to type all the contact detail stuff you want in word, paint, excel, PPT or whatever, screenshot, save to jpeg and save on your phone as a locked image

A nerd will be along shortly to explain that better 🙂

    Road ID

Sends a text or mail to a predetermined contact if you are stationary for a while, can be cancelled if you are just stopped and haven’t had your face smashed off

Another good feature is that you can have your loved one/next of kin contact details or any other info you want on your locked screen (iPhone) blood type?

Give it a go, it’s free

Buy new as said before, I found lupine Germany pretty helpful during non warranty claims until they realised I wasn’t German, within the UK though not a chance of any useful help

Get a uk supplied magicshine or take a punt on saving money direct from China via eBay

If you have the option of returning it under warranty assuming you bought it from a uk retailer I’d go that route

I’ve owned a couple of their posts and the lack of reliability hasn’t impressed me

If you want DH bike, buy a DH bike.

As stated in a few posts before, the SX was good in the day (kinda) but not for proper DH, not for a mere mortal/have a go merchant like me.

I bought a new one and hoped I could use it for everything, bought it with Van36’s moved on Totems when I realized it was too much for any distance, thought it might as well just be a dick about bike:

A few years ago – I swapped with a mate at a DH venue, he rode my SX and rode his IH Sunday, he couldn’t stay with me and he’s a massively better rider than me, that was enough, I sold it and bought a fairly cheap 2009 Demo8 as I was convinced I had the wrong tool for the job.

(cheaper freeride angle version) I still have it and would love a newer DH version one but don’t use it enough to justify the change.

If money is tight and as said before go for a Demo7, they are pretty cheap and can become 8″ travel buy taking a spacer in shock – most people do, the only thing to be aware of are the 66’s that came on the Demo7 were in some cases not that great – Marzocchi are back on form now

    Examples:

    etc….

I also have an Enduro Evo which I think is a better bike than the SX ever was, same travel, better angles and way lighter:

    Ti spring on order…

I’m 6’1 and used to kid myself the medium was for me when I had an early Enduro

Have since owned a large SX 2008 and currently have a 2009 Demo and 2010 Enduro both in large

Spesh in large suits me better
