I’ve used 1″/25mm gorilla tape (duck/duct tape) on both my sets, wound once, no issues and cheap <£3 per roll

No help on the trail but I bit the bullet and bought a decent track pump recently and run tubeless

    Pretty happy with it

I have a Wheels manufacturing on my main off road bike, no issues or squeaks – just over 2K miles so far

They are supposed to be press fit and have an O ring – I bonded the shell in anyway to make sure and will swap the bearings when they need it.

This might help as mentioned above?

I have a couple of XL D2’s that fit my big head nicely, the 661’s I couldn’t even get on, so I’d say that come up larger than what you have.

They don’t come with different pads to change the size but I think you can buy these as an additional option

    Have both Mucky and Marsh

Marsh is about twice the thickness, buy direct for 10 Euros and no postage

Bought from them once (about three weeks ago) everything in stock, took two weeks to deliver – too slow for me – its only Germany not the moon

components.de and others have been as quick/slow as CRC ie 3-4 days, wont be using Hibike again

Bought some as above last year in the sales they were having and bought with Ti axles.

Plenty of grip, very thin, uber light and no issues so far.

Not sure how well they would hold up to a proper rock strike though – hope not to find out and will put on cheaper pedals for Lakes trips etc

I had some and run them with no air pre-load, plush as

Now have 160mm pikes now which are similar and surprisingly good in comparison, always been a coil user before.

Crown to axle is more important to consider than travel for geometry

I’ve had most brands except Thompson, I think theyre all unreliable to a point, the reverb is probably my favoured product atm just because when they work they work well, you can buy a stealth one for under £200 on the continent due the current exchange rate.
Currently I have a specialized which is basic but doesn’t like the cold ( there is a fix)
Waiting for the Marzocchi to come out, hopefully it’ll have a three year warranty like their forks

Awesome, those were the days where it didn’t matter what you rode or how you rode it, Strava didn’t exist and few people had POV cameras. It was just sketchy fun and crashes

    Hi

    I have a BKOOL

I bought this as I knew with my limited attention span, if I’d bought a simple turbo I’d only use it a couple of times and it would be a waste of money, a bit like any previous gym memberships I’ve had

When it’s properly bad outside its a pretty good alternative, I have it hooked up in the garage with a spare PC and monitor, it’s pretty quiet* and easy to use
*appart from the dirty base tunes 🙂

I weighed the wood/parcel and it was a lot less than the forks, I spoke to Collect+ they said they operate on trust so if you pay for a parcel of 2kg weight as an example and your parcel weighs 3 or 4 kilos, as long as the person behind the counter doesnt question this, collect+ have no function for checking weights during collection from a shop or during transit/delivery

There you go a cheap way of sending parcels

I have the cash, they have the forks and the Paypals cash

I traced her, she lives in a flat in Southwark SE1 but works part time in Kent
She was a backing singer in the 80’s in an unsucessful band

She was pretty easy to track down – all info passed to the feds and eBay

I have rung ebay twice today and spent over an hour on the phone.

RESULT: they have closed the case in my favour and are now after the buyer to get their money back that they refunded to her

    Big 😀

I spoke to ebay and the polite overseas person didnt understand me, I said wood, then timber, chop down trees and cut into pieces, “ah wood”

Fortunately the local police offer had a better grasp of english

The address is a business address also, so I may become a real PITA if I get shafted

    And small claims also
