Been looking at these today for my bike: http://www.enduroforkseals.com/id275.html

Must be a better solution on standard bushings?

    Comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6TF77ZPlQs

I would assume less chance of the potentail rocker arm wear that could occur

Myself and two other riding mates have bought different versions of the Swoop this year. All of them have had no threadlock to any bolts or screws. Bike Discounts reply: its good practice to use this during assembly but we dont have to. I personally found this out the hard way when a shock pivot fell out. Have been without this part now for 8 days now as I wait for a replacement. I was told that EVERY bolt should be cheched EVERY ride. I would recommend anyone buying on of these great bikes takes it appart as adds some loctite to every fastener before something falls off. Just a heads up.

I’d overlap the rim joint twice too if DT and not welded. Mine (DT1900) leaked at this point, I’m told its not common, not a warrenty but can occur.

Osprey raptor here, better than the mule is replaced and has a lifetime warrenty.

How odd, all of the bikes and frames he’s sold have been either S/M/L. Thats some growth spurt in only 1 year http://www.pinkbike.com/u/Callumj10/buysell/sold/

Not ridden one but saw and handled one on Sunday when out riding. It was very light but did have a light build with items like slant forks and a wireless dropper

My new bike is boost front and back. Can’t say I see any noticable difference in axle stiffness

Also I’ve been running 15mm up front for a few years now and can’t say that 20mm before was any better or worse. It’s all hype. #marginalgains

I was looking at that Rango recently and saw that you can get the very same frame from China with forks from another seller. there are two or three suppliers that seem to copy each other. One was marketed by a Chinese brand and the person behind it may be called Richard or a similar western name but basically it was cheaper to import it with the fork than it was was to get from on one without the fork and you don’t end up with the on one logo on the frame either

I’m 6’1″ and long in leg. The enduro is almost too small but OK, The Swoop fits better as its a little bigger but not a gate. (20″)

Never really seen the propain before, having said that I didnt really know the Radon until about an hour of research and the press of a button. But IMO not sure thats the best placement for a shock with UK conditions.

Flame me if you want but its just an opinion

I bought the Swoop with the twin rings up front, more so because I wanted the shock that came with it rather than the Vivid. Was considering putting it to single ring up front to save a tiny bit of weight, but was thankfull of the granny when spinning up the Sunny Slurry Hills last w/e.

The angles (which are adjustable) are great 64.8 – 65.8. I run it mid and its OK uphill and awesome down. Pinkbike image:

Bought a Swoop recently. Rides like a DH bike and only a smidge heavier than an AM bike

Used Traineroad last night for the first time (FTP) in my garage.

Asmart trainer controlled by a spare android phone. And a spare old dumb TV made smart with a dongle. (Netflix/Iplayer/Youtube/Etc)

I’m still wondering what bike costs £200 – sounds like a shed unless the child is on 12″ wheels

My belief is that the stores are indpendant and pay a huge amount to become a franchised store with branding and materials for part refit etc. (I seem to remember one small store saying something like £60K about 6 years ago – my memory might be out)

I’m not that impressed with them directly at Chessington, they used to be more helpful, but I think thats down to changes with staff. I bought spesh from 2004 – 2014 about 7 times (2 demos and a few differnt incarnations of the enduro)

Gone German now as generally its the parts that go wrong (droppers/forks/shocks etc) and they go to another fixer in warrenty anyway.

I think their pricing is way too high now as well – my main reason for looking elsewhere.

    Who spends £200 on a coat 🙂

I used to buy loads of stuff from SS but tend now just to spend a bit more money on proper brands that IMO last longer and have had more design and development put into their products. Worst product I bought was a pair of Delta Mag pedals, they lasted about 40 miles and SS didn’t have spares at the time to repair so they refunded. Now have DMR vaults which have been faultless. Their pads are cheap but don’t last (false economy) and I haven’t heard good things about the carbon wheels/rims which is a real shame as I still have a couple of 26aintdead bikes and would have bought otherwise

It’s got locktite on the bolt. I loosened my recently with a ATB. 🙂

Just give it a bit more oomph and apply some more threadlock before you nip back up or it’ll get loose whilst riding

Same for me as many, she goes out and I go out, we share responsibilies with the kids and house stuff. We also spend time together as a family (not watching TV and all the other time wasting stuff) Its a juggling act though. It does get easier as they grow and you can take them riding too if only for a short (additional) ride.

In the last coupe of years ive also taken to riding from 5:30am on occasions. its great, nobody about just wildlife and smash a few miles out.
