Been out for 6 weeks now due to a broken collarbone, fractured in 2 places.

I’ve literally been rocking backwards and forwards waiting until I can get out and ride.

Been struggling with money, went back to work too early so had to go back to the doctors for a sick note which made the situation even worse due to missing 2 weeks sick pay.

The first couple of week I slept about 3 hours a night and my sleeping pattern is still a mess which makes me even grumpier.

Grumpy and miserable is an understatement and even worse because not long before the accident I went on holiday with the other half, even though I didn’t really want to go, and the money that paid for the holiday was going to be used for a new frame and fork which I’d be able to of built up over a few days and something to look forward to. Blahhhh.

In the description it says ‘available to stream for free for a limited time’ so guessing it’s a iTunes special thingy.

The release date is the 9th mate. Get it listened to while you can, It’s decenttttt.

Not that I know of, Sorry.

Just seen Arctic Monkeys Face Book page posted this. It’s worth a listen, I like it and I’m a massive fan of their new and old stuff.

Not a massive fan of the slow-mo close-ups of the rear wheel kicking up a bit of dirt like but good video.

Not been funny but… A bike shed… In the front garden?

Why not just put a big sign on your lawn telling people?

Out of sight, more chance of them being out of mind.

Doesn’t hurt to confront them, I’d take a friend along though just incase.

Like I said, There’s a good chance they’ll panick and just hand the bike over. Then again it may be someone who’s bought it after it was stolen. You’ll be able to tell.

Don’t pay for it over PayPal, Meet them and pay in person, or should I say take it.

Contact the police and see what they say.

If it was me, I’d try arrange a meet and confront them in person. For all you know, You could say “This bike is mine and was stolen, did you steal it” They could hold their hands up and give it back to you. Worth a try.

Or just throw in a headbutt or two and take it back anyway.

If you aren’t taking care whilst driving then you’re being dangerous. Both the same things. What a load of bollocks.

Don’t go and spend the 4k on activities at home and new bike parts for next year’s trip.

Don’t bother pissing about with trying SPDs out next to a wall/fence.

If you know how you ride and how to clip out you’ll be fine. Ain’t rocket science.

The comedy offs will come once you get comfortable about it and know what you’re doing… Forgetting you’re clipped in.

For the past 3 or 4 months I’ve been using Smorgasbords front and rear and been loving them. Most definitely getting a Chunky Monkey up front for winter. Maybe even rear.

My other half’s sister and husband managed it.

They moved in when the baby was 4 month old. Repossessed bungalow, taken walls down, put in brand new bathroom, kitchen, double doors to the rear. The lot.

They’re doing fine, they said it’s very hard work but they wouldn’t change the situation.

He is a plumber to be fair but he’s been a cripple for the past 4 month’s after a nasty football tackle ruined his right knee. Still getting work done.

It all depends on the motivation you have to do it.

    Good luck.

What’s your PayPal? I’ll send £170 over and I expect a similar bike in a month’s time. Cheers.

I’m also out with a broken collarbone, did it last Friday.

So far I’ve almost ordered a Revelation RL and looking at a Cotic BFe frame…

Oh and an Easton EA70 wheelset, very good price.

    Ooops, naughty naughty.

Great tyres for the price, really good all rounders. I run Smorgasbords front and rear unless very muddy conditions which I’m getting a Chunky Monkeys to throw on the front.

They roll really well too and hardly noticed any wear on mine after 4 months of use.

[quoteDandax, you are missing the point! Is it really appropriate to drive into a “disaster area” for a bit of fun?
It is reported that residents have formed a human chain across Halifax Road to stop vehicles driving through and causing further flood damage to homes and businesses.
At Mytholmroyd residents are critical of the speed motorists are driving through flood water at, fearing the waves will flood businesses and homes again.
Unless, like Rusty Spanner, you are offering to help, then stay away from the area, and find somewhere else to ride.[/quote]

You can go somewhere for a ride without driving to the exact spot.
