I’ve got the bike with me for a few days and only gonna be using one of my spare gear cables and some of my cleaning/grease products and if it takes longer than expected I don’t mind due to the fact I’ll have something to keep me busy due to a week off of work.

Am I charging considerably less or more than the average an LBS would charge?

Good news guys, went and bought myself a Mavic Notch helmet this morning.

Went for a 16 mile cyclepath ride with my brother, shoulder felt fine but my arse doesn’t! Haha.

Fitness has done a runner, I was ruined! Didn’t help myself with not eating this morning and getting a bit fresh lastnight, ooops.

Was a horrible ride but also was great, felt a bit weird at first, was worried my bike was gonna fall apart but by the end I felt fine.

Sticking to the local cyclepath until I’ve gone back to see the consultant next month as I’m still a bit worried about the strength of the break, I’m a big lad and don’t wanna make it worse.

I see dead people.

Yeah I know my fitness has taken a bashing, Put over a stone on 🙁

Gonna stick to the local cycle path/greenway for now, I’m going back to see the consultant in a month so if everything is ok then I’ll hit the trails, Reckon that’ll be the best thing for me to do.

It’s a great jacket for the colder weather but I was hoping the Mayhem was a lighter material and would be better for the summer that’s all.

Ordered one, it turned up today, not quite what I was hoping/looking for.

Just gonna get a cheap waterproof shell for now seems as the material of the Mayhem was pretty much the same as the Night Vision Evo I already have but the fit didn’t feel as good.

About 4 years ago I went to the Preston demonstration with a few lads I used to knock about with. The only trouble that kicked off that day was when a scuffle broke out towards the area they were giving a speech due to Tommy and a fair few others handing a group of about 20 lads over to the police due to them throwing nazi salutes.

Apart from that I didn’t see any violence and racism just a lot of people agreeing with the points Tommy and the others were making, which weren’t racist although I’m prepared for most of you to tell me they are.

Aye, It’s on buy it now also. Could be sold in 10 minutes and picked up within an hour.

I checked the OPs profile and he hasn’t logged in on here for a few days so I looked him up on Face Book and sent him a message on there too to give a better chance of him getting the message.

Each to their own. I know too many people who’ve tried to do it by the book and the police didn’t care and ended up with their bike being sold on. The fact there isn’t much time left is why I’d try get the bike back myself. Fair enough report to the police but then try and get it yourself.

I found it easier to practice on technical/steep/slow climbs. Loose and rocky. That’s where I’ve felt the benefits of SPDs mostly. If you fall, which you will, in pure comedy style, you’re not traveling at enough speed to do any damage.

You need to accept the fact that you WILL fall, and if anyone see’s you, it WILL be a funny off.

And you need to commit yourself 100%, Don’t give in too easy.

Why exactly did you change? Took me a fair while to get used to them but once I did, I felt like I attacked every loose and rocky climb as hard as I could and I managed to clear a fair few climbs I used to stop mid way on flats.

Could be a leg over opportunity… Game on.

I’d take up the offer of one of those rear mechs if it was me mate, Don’t want to ruin your rear wheel if it goes into the spokes. Hope everything gets sorted.
