Just been diagnosed with this this morning! Not sure where it’s come from as only just recovering from knee arthoscopy!

Anyway, for me it seems its
    – rest
    – gentle turbo c30mins
    – physio (ultrasound and some massage/stretching of the tendon)
    – eccentric loading

Wonder though, and forgot to ask Physio – is swimming ok?

If you have BUPA and want your heart checked out, go to your GP and say you get chest pains running, ask to be referred to a Cardiologist for a cardiogram.

I had a tear trimmed early Dec and can echo most of above. However still not 100%, still exercise caution on the knee and still not back to pre Dec levels. Perhaps thats’ normal I’m not sure but I’m defo taking it easy still compared to before. Hard to explain, its fine day to day but not quite got confidence to up intensity yet. Still hurts deep when i fully squat down for example.

Isn’t there just a massive opportunity to import these with some good QC and a guarantee? The latter seeming to be what’s holding many people back from purchasing?

Though I guess that it Planet X et al…

Having just spent the most I have ever spent on a watch last week:
    http://www.tennants.co.uk/Catalogue/Lots/179138.aspx

I am quite astounded that people think that £400 is reasonable for the service of a watch

Good luck when that needs servicing!

What kind of hotel will you get for 3 nights for £350?! Sounds low to me.

Are you sure that is not per night?

Except the guy he’d have undercut was also supplying materials…, so not really.

Got an email off the bloke after sending him my quote based on £25 an hour, making the total about £1600.

As a benchmark you were 600 more than the next highest quote from a professional cabinet maker who also included materials.

    In the beginning:

So far, I have based my rate on £22.50 an hour and estimated around 41 hours to complete, bringing the cost to about £925.

You’d have been bang on, undercutting the other guy by £75 if you’d have ignored everyone and gone with your original thought!

    STW at its best!

snapchat is a platform for sending picture messages to each other.
the twist being they auto delete after a short time period.

    From Wikipedia:
The bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) method is a lower-cost (from less than one to several hundred US dollars in 2006[11]) but less accurate way to estimate body fat percentage. The general principle behind BIA: two or more conductors are attached to a person’s body and a small electric current is sent through the body. The resistance between the conductors will provide a measure of body fat between a pair of electrodes, since the resistance to electricity varies between adipose, muscular and skeletal tissue. Fat-free mass (muscle) is a good conductor as it contains a large amount of water (approximately 73%) and electrolytes, while fat is anhydrous and a poor conductor of electric current. Factors that affect the accuracy and precision of this method include instrumentation, subject factors, technician skill, and the prediction equation formulated to estimate the fat-free mass.

Doesn’t really matter re accuracy as long as it’s consistent and you can see a trend.

Will it upload from iPhone to macbook only ? or will i have to manually upload from iPhone to macbook ?

If you’ve got auto import ticked and auto upload unticked on macbook then iphone photos will still end up on macbook in photostream. macbook photos will not get uploaded to photostream/iphone.

I’d love a GF nd 20mm lens. But not for moving subjects.

Curious why you say that re moving subjects?

Sold all my cameras and roll with a Panasonic GF1. Go anywhere do anything camera with the 20mm lens and shooting raw will give most DSLRs a run for their money.
Worth a look. Most important thing about a camera is taking it with you.
    Interesting take on it
