Just checked mine and it’s not available yet. Says “From late January 2015”. Unfortunately, I’m leaving this workplace next week so I guess my Pruhealth will be cancelled.

Yep, I’ve ‘earned’ just over a £1000 over the last 9 years on it.

Or if you dont mind the bulk, Ram do a proper secure mount for it.

The mounts are shit and the unit can sometimes pop off. So do this mod Mount mod[/url] and get a short lanyard to attach it to the bars in case it drops.

Seems like a faff threading the lanyard around the bars each time, but over 5 years I have got used to it and its no bother now.

Open means the sound from the headphones will leak out.

If budget isnt a problem, a pair of Sennheiser HD600/650s with a decent headphone amp and a usb dac (so you can play music from your computer) will be very nice…

Had my Dakota 20 for 5 years. It’s great and works fine with gloves. Infact, my friend’s etrex is harder to use as its not touchscreen.

Thou, I would say the screen is better on the etrex, it’s slimmer and the batteries last longer.

The mounts are shit on both.

    Tough choice.

I’m all for nice winter bikes. I do nearly the same mileage in the winter as the summer so why would I want to ride a piece of junk? Plus I use it for audax and I don’t really want to be sitting on a slow/heavy ride for 600k ;)

Mines a Chinese carbon frame (FM028), Ulegra Di2, nice handbuilts, a dynamo and full guards.

I ended up buying some fakley Split jackets from Aliexpress. Took a month to come, but turned up eventually. Not bad, have 3 lenses, a big case and a Lance Armstrong cardboard box :)

I’ve put my Oakley prescription lenses from my real Split jackets in them and they fit, but one side is a bit loose. Works fine on the bike. The new frame actually fits better as I guess the old frame has stretched over the keys and now has a tendency to slip off when i look down.

Not bad for 15 quid or whateva. Will do me until I can order some new (real) Racing Jackets with prescription transitions :)

A better way to do it would be to use Videostream, which is made for what you want. Works great with all kinds of video files… http://www.getvideostream.com/

zigzag69, would changing the comfort settings slider attempt to fix this? If you moved it more to the comfort end it might be more aggressive in reaching the desired temperature.

How’s everyone getting on with Tado?

Finally got round to installing mine last week and it’s been working well. I still think it’s learning my schedule, but the way it turns off the heating when you leave it pretty good as my schedule can be sporadic sometimes. No more heating an empty flat every evening I’m out.

Not in mud, but I’ve run 6700 di2 since last September on my winter/audax bike and its been faultless through many wet winter rides/long audaxes.

Water in the cables. Annoying and if left, can do damage, but can be remedied by undoing the pinch bolt and sliding off the outer.

This is why my winter bike now has Di2 :) Perfect shifts all winter.

Picked mine up today. They wouldn’t give the 10% BC discount as they said this is a online only offer and the discount applies to in-store stuff.

I’ve had (real) Split Jackets for a few years with prescription lenses. Fancy a frame colour change to put the lenses into. As Oakley discontinued the Split Jacket, looking for a pair of jokelys. Anyone seen any Split Jacket copies on ebay?

    Shame its black/blue.

I just went to Cycle Surgery at lunch and bought a white/blue Vertigo. £65 off with the trade in, but didnt need to trade in anything (I said on their website it just says to send in a photo).

    Where are you coming from?

I dont think there’s hooks in the pendolino. It’s a recessed area in the guards van where you strap your bike again the wall with a seatbelt. Like this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/cliveandrews/5457506949/

I’ve used it from Manchester a few times and haven’t been too worried. What carriage are you in? I’ve seen bikers pop out of the door at each station and check if 1. the guard van is being opened 2. if someones walking of with their bike.

You could just put ur bike bag in that space in the photo.
