Yep, a 54cm. Looked into Dengfu etc, but in the end ordered from Carbonzone so I could get it through Ebay with a bit more protection.

Once the order was made, it was surprisingly quick. I was expecting a month so hadn’t bought the parts when it arrived 10 days later.

I decided on the FM028 after reading the 5 100-page threads on RoadBikeReview. Seemed that no-one had reported any breakages and only a couple had problems with extra resin on headtubes etc. Mine was perfect.

Why for is your stem so high? Get it slammed.

If only I could! Weird body proportions mean if I did, the saddle to bar drop would be far more than my little girl like core strength could manage.

A friend riding behind me commented that it shook from side to side, but it doesnt touch the tyre so not too big a problem.

These seem interesting for road bikes without clearance: http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/giant-defy-avail-item166654.html

I’ve done something similar in the past by chopping a SKS P35 in half and making my own fixing, but those look much neater (and easier).

bigdugsbaws, the front looks similar but the back is different.

Taff, rented property for 6 months so fence is not my list of things to do!

ac282, I’m no stranger to proper guards and diy mudflaps. However I’m quite impressed by these Crud guards. Good coverage and even an overlap by the chainset to reduce the amount of gunk on the chain. Was thinking about making some lightweight flaps thou!

Summer bike is an Isaac Impulse. This year I thought why should the winter bike be a heavy piece of crap? Done a couple of 100 milers on it already and it feels good!

I’m assuming you need to link the parameters in the properties of the subreport box.

    i.e. Right click subreport box
    Go to parameters tab
Select Date1 for Param Name. Then write an expression in Param Value to point to the main report’s Date1 param.

Then the same again for Date2.

I would love to, but I’ve already waited 2-3 weeks!

Patience and new bikes bits don’t go hand in hand…

    Tortec Expedition on this one:

    Blackburn Moutain rack on this:

Not particulary light racks. Thou I did buy a Tortec Ultralight and when I weighed it was the same as the Blackburn! (So returned it). The double rails on the Tortec Expedition are really good when you need to store stuff on top of the rack.

I used to use a Emu 0404 pci soundcard (an ‘audiophile’ sound card), it which replaced a Musical Fidelity X-Ray cd player. I was happy with that for years.

Then I replaced the Emu 0404 with a Musical Fidelity usb VDAC and I reckon I like that better.

Spent 2 hours + alot of cursing yesterday trying to get the new bulb in my Celica to sit right. I gave up thinking it had worked, but driving it this evening realised it definitely had not! Right side beam is all over the shop.

Thanks trout, but they don’t seem to have any triple 35mm ones for XR-Es.

Also, anyone know where I can get a cylindrical heatsink that size?

(it’s for a dynamo light i’m building it up).

    Thanks

I’ve got 2 Alpkit bags. Great value (and quality).

Coincidently I should really sell my Sky High 600 if you go the down route and are interested…

You can have mine for (Manual GPX in black) for £200 :)

Neighbour dented it couple weeks ago and her insurance wrote it off (Cat C) and gave me the money. It’s completely drivable, just the dent needs fixing and the fuel cap got bent. Needs a VIC Check. It’s going to scrap at the end of the weekend, as my insurance runs out and I fancy a change. I’ve paid £1600 and £1400 insurance the last 2 years.

Yes, they were frustrated at all the JDM cars on the roads in the London so torched it with a bottle of cognac!

Nah, the small dent made by neighbour was going to cost 2 grand to repair so they wrote it off. Could get it fixed but my insurance is running out soon and I fancy a change!

Hmmm, MR2 with a roof rack. What do people think of the uk market non-turbos?

    Integra is a possible.

Also thinking Celica T Sport. 190bhp and you can fold the rear seats.

Just thought a towbar would be easier. Supposedly you can mount one on a mk1, but not a mk2, mk3.

Is it just strapped to the boot rack? or are there mounts?

    damitamit

MR2 is nice, but seems like could be potentially a lot of hassle (like the FTO was sometimes).

Currently thinking a MX5 mk1 with a towbar, seems to be lot about so more to choose from, reliable, cheap and a little quirky. Quite like the hard top versions.

Don’t think you can put a towbar on a S2000, so bike carrying would be a problem.

Or I could just get something more sensible like a mk1 Leon Cupra…
