Pretty much. I put a Christmas hat on our logo and made it snow on our website yesterday.

    Haven’t done much today.

Damitamit, have you got any other modifications on yours?

Nope, it’s lowered, got GT side skirts and covered keyholes. That’s about it (oh, and painted calipers and uprated pads). I actually managed to find one that had all the mods I wanted already done, so bought it like that.

    Is yours a TSport?

Not sure if this counts, but it was fun to drive and sounded good.

Now replaced with this which is a bit more practical for bikes.

imho, the Montane jackets are way too baggy for cycling! :)

The material on that Craft one is only showerproof anyway.

I bought a Polaris AQualite Extreme a few weeks ago. Haven’t used it in the rain yet (only on a really cold night), but the fit is good and it packs into a pocket on the sleeve. Pack size is reasonable, thou not ultra small. Fits fine in the rear pocket of my road winter jersey.

I used a piece of meccano and a zip tie on my squarish carbon stays:

    Long alu ones: http://janheine.wordpress.com/2012/11/19/why-we-dont-need-rain-bikes-any-longer/

    Or some SKS longboards.

Or make your own carbon stayed ones :)

I use a laptop > MF V-Dac 1 > White Noise Audio headphone amp > Senn HD600s and it sounds pretty good.

I reckon the MF usb dac sounds better than the ‘audiophile’ soundcard I used to have in my PC, M-Audio 0404.

I thought P-Clips would be quite hard to bend into shape (my carbon stay was square) so did it like this with a piece of mecano. Depends on the shape of the stays I suppose.

Bazz, Curana C-Lites with quite a bit of modification to make them fit the tight clearances. The standard mounting hardware is pretty bad – I wouldnt buy them again.

Ctznsmith, frame was from carbonzone. Decals are vinyl stickers done here.

Yes, host OS that runs VMs (aka Hypervisors). ESXi and Hyper-V Server are free, but the free version of ESXi has some limitations.

I reckon go with Windows 8 Pro. Hyper-V Client probably runs better than a workstation vm tool like virtualbox, or VMWare workstation (if thats what its called now).

Hyper-v server 2012 looks promising and more feature packed than esxi 5.

Also, windows 8 now has hyper-v client and supposedly you can build a vm on there and migrate it to hyper-v server 2012.

I bought it on Sunday and installed it as a fresh install. You get the option to “create install media” once the download has finished (2GB). Then then rebooted with that, wiped the hd and did a fresh install.

My other one, thou it’s a bit too heavy to take the on the club run so it only used for commuting. (plus the alfine gear spacing doesnt work too well in a group).

That WeightWeenies site is a bit out of date.

I’ve had the alu version of this for years. The Ti upgrade is very tempting!!!

Please let us know what they say about the rack mounts.

My bike used to fit quite well on the backseat of my FTO…

The Celica TSport I have now is much more practical. Seats go down and can get 3 bikes in the back with front wheels off.

    £23 + 6 quid delivery. 3 days to arrive.

I’ve bike commuted (10 miles) to my office job for the past 6 years. Always bring my shirt and trousers to work each day (and back home at night) in a pannier. Fold trousers in three, and roll shirts. Never felt I’ve been wearing creased clothes at work.

I keep a towel (changed every week) and a little bag with deodorant/hair gel/shower gel under my desk, as I have a shower at work. Bike clothes are hung under my desk during the day.

In terms of bike, mudguards, puncture proof tyres, panniers and dynamo lights make it a lot more reliable/hassle free.
