The gurniad jumps the gun on this story. Apple are worth £1.48tn and the fuse 100 has a value over £1.5tn. So a little bit to go yet. £20,000,000 + and then they can run the story again.

Agree with cheers_drive, cordless mowers are much less faff. Also quieter than mains or petrol which I like. I also got a Makita but 36v and it is as good as the Bosch mains mower it replaced if not better. I already had Makita batteries for my power tools so that influenced my purchase. I didn’t look to see what else was available. I have since bought the Makita hedge trimmer to use the same batteries and that is brilliant too.

    The Cult – Pure Cult

On repeat in the car. 3 days so far and the volume is creeping up each day.

The op didn’t say he had forgotten how to drive. There’s no reason it needs to take up more than one space if you park wise. Stick the overhang over grass/ditch. <span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>Really, he said it’s “Big”, my Mate’s jumbo Crafter van won’t fit in one of the normal parking spaces there, hanging over the grass or not.</span>

My Mondeo estate doesn’t fit in most supermarket car park spaces. I think the UK needs to rethink the dimensions of parking spaces and make them bigger to accommodate modern vehicles.

TBH, I disapprove. The footage is great but it just reinforces my view that there is far too much assistance from the teams during the racing.

I agree. Being told when to use the options lessens my admiration for any driver. They should know themselves. I thought this kind of assistance had been banned.

As for “team sport” angle, Racing is about the driver. Team prepares the car and then the driver should take care of business on the track.

I like Lando and think he is world champion material and he could have reeled in the time on his own anyway. That’s the sad thing for me. He’s not been allowed to shine.

I went with Makita cordless as I have their 18v power tools and they share the same batteries. I also got a hedge trimmer too. They seem underpowered but they can’t be as they get through the jobs easy enough. I think they are just quiet! Best thing is how manoeuvrable they are without a cable tangling around you and they are light too.

I have quite a few batteries and chargers so it’s a good system for me.

Thanks for all the replies guys, some great stuff shared. Just the sort of inspiration to keep me motivated.
I will be making a bespoke building but just wanted to look over some plans to get an idea of how much material to purchase. My biggest challenge is I don’t have a van to collect large materials so wanted to do a calculation to order a delivery.
It will be 2.5 m max height so no planning permission needed.

It’s odd how Gates has somehow become the whipping boy for the whole C19 situation

Gates is funding research for a vaccine and also funded a conference (event 201) last year to tell governments how to handle a pandemic so is deeply involved in the current situation. Gates is going to make the covid vaccine his next version of windows. He will license it and get governments to insist every citizen is vaccinated before they can travel outside of their country. He will have some kind of license that you have to present for travel (document or chip). And when he’s made billions from it he will create vaccine 2.0 then 3.0 then xd and vista etc. and everyone will have to upgrade.
He is set to make more billions than anyone thought was possible and he has the governments of the world assisting him willingly. Because it will take several months to develop the vaccine and he doesn’t want people building immunity naturally the lockdown scenario was presented at his conference. By the time freedom of movement is relaxed he will be almost ready with his first vaccine.

My first company car was a sierra estate in 1989. A black 1.8GL. I thought it was the dogs and I loved it. Grey velour seats that were like arm chairs, rear wheel drive and modern (for the time) styling. It was black and my mates used to call it the hearse!

Summer wax motorcycle jacket and armoured jeans. Hopefully some summer left when we are allowed outside again. Might buy a dartboard too. I used to play years ago so now could be the perfect time to bring back the skills.

Listening to the three candidates on Sky tonight and I have to say voting labour is not an option. What a trio of weak individuals. What are they thinking?

It’s TV. The producers think that format is entertainment. Does your rule include car sos?

Thanks Jay, I’m OK. I used an old non-dropper seatpost to measure the depth and it will fit.

Does anyone know if the 150mm will fit in a medium giant trance frame? Mine is a 2017 and the giant dropper cartridge has failed.

The custom monkey is cool but I can’t imagine going any distance on it. I want to fit some heated grips to mine. Has anyone fitted the oxford hot Grips? Are they simple to fit?

Quick update. I got givi luggage for Xmas so fitted the racks today as it was dry outside. Also fitted a 12v socket and iPhone holder (ultimate addons). All ready for touring and adventures now.

I got the can fitted and managed a dry ride for an hour this afternoon so that was a bonus :). It’s a great riding position, very comfy. I could definitely do a lot of miles before feeling beat up. I put the screen on the high setting and it keeps the airflow above me. I’m 5’9″ so taller guys may need an aftermarket screen.

The esso stations near us are selling siskin dash cams for £15, check where you are to see if they have the same. 720p resolution. I’ve not got one so can’t give a review but for the money should be worth a go?

Sorry folks, I should have said it was a cb500x but it got picked up in the comments.

    @couchy
, that’s my plan, some better off road tyres and hit the dust trails in Europe.

    @yokaiser
, I have RR bookmarked and will be buying a few parts from them. The first one being the engine guard once it’s back in stock.

I’m changing the can today as the stock one is a bit vulnerable because of it’s bulk. It sounds nice though.

I have one and use the Kamado Joe website for recipes.

I always use lump wood charcoal and a thermometer to check core temp of meat. They are great pizza ovens too if you like pizza.

It’s not the post, it’s the uprights attached to the horizontals. Each one is about 25mm thick and the claw marks are now 4-5mm deep. I’ve not identified the culprit so can’t attach a cucumber to it.

a nationalist Britain that is talking about potentially reintroducing the death penalty.

It’s ridiculous statements like this that show why remoaners have already lost. Varadkar? LOL what a lame duck. And why does Macron think his opinion will change anything? Until Bojo goes to meet Merkel no one know how things are going to shape up.

Take loads of newspaper with you. More than you think is loads is probably enough. Then when bil has wrapped your fish and chips you overwrap with the newspaper. Once its a nice thick bundle you are good to go. Pudsey to Sheff should be 45 mins so food will be nice and hot

Boris showed how to command the despatch box today and made a very impressive start to his premiership.

With his “can-do” cabinet I am looking forward to a period of getting things done instead of the usual endless discussions about why it’s too hard to deliver improvements.

Corbyn resorted to the usual remarks about privilege, yawn, and Swinson showed her ineffectiveness by asking a question that BJ had already set out a policy for. With this level of opposition, once brexit is sorted, there will definitely be a general election for the tories to capitalise on.

Good first speech from Johnson and demonstrates that he has his eye on the needs of the country with his references to increased spending on police, education and health. He will deal with brexit quickly and clearing out the useless cabinet is already a great start to his premiership. So refreshing to hear someone in politics with a positive view of the nation, it’s people and the future.

You have to report it. They may well be driving after smoking and are definitely affecting the health and wellbeing of their children. Would everyone turn a blind eye to alcoholic parents neglecting their kids, drink driving and being anti social. Same thing in my view and they need to be made aware of the law.

So, from the posts above it seems that the TG producers have got the show spot on. They have made a program that caters for the car nerd, the fast lap fan, the light entertainment crowd and the people who like a bit of interesting racing history. The viewing figures for this series must be the best yet.

I think you have the chainring fitted the wrong way round. I would expect to see branding on the outside. There is probably built in spacing on the other side to stop the links fouling on the spider arms.

I have a mach 5.5 and never noticed any bob when climbing. It gives more rear grip than anything else I’ve ever ridden tbh. I live in the pennines so lots of steep climbing on my trails. On the descents with the 160 fork up front it blows me away every time with the amount of punishment it can take and stay composed. It often leaves me thinking how did I get away with that, but that’s why I love it.:)
