    you could go to the delivery office and speak to who ever is your posties line manager or delivery office manager. it isnt likely to get your stuff to you unfortunately but it will highlight there is a problem, and you will still most likely have to go through customer service for any compensation, which tbf wont be alot unless the items were insured.

    Give it a week or so and then if they have not come give customer service a shout, number is on the web sie. sometimes things just get delayed…

    I have been in a similar place to you for the last couple of years. .. I found myself not sleeping at night, my brain going over and over silly things. Feeling depressed and not riding because I couldn’t get motivated. And all the other things associated.
    Finally went to the doc who knows me very well and his prescription was get off my arris and get out on my bikes. It took a couple of months to get back to some semblance of normality but (before I fell off and been off the biike again… just started riding again this week, after 11 months) I ended up sleeping almost 5hrs every night and actually getting fit and having a more positive attitude to pretty much everything!
    I say go for it! But don’t feel bad if you don’t make the whole distance, just enjoy the day.
    Oh and a big +1 for what jekkyl said…
    Good luck and let us know how you do

    everything in the uk is bloody expensive! and its worth a shot to see if they will… re did the maths and saving a grand over all on frame and fork (including taxes) isnt to be sniffed at imo

    daftvader

    yeah… just did the maths online and i reckon i would only save myself a couple of hundred at the most… bugger! hate the fact that there is such a mark up on some brands, niner frames in particular

    @geetee
    … its ok… it was my left wrist and i am right handed!!! :wink:
    tore 3 ligaments. one of the tfcc ligaments, so they made the hole in it bigger, had another one cauterised and a further one left alone beacause its apparently a big ligament that can cope with it…
    cant do dieting, when i want to loose weight i just do more sport plus i have been using the turbo but not as much as i’d like/need.
    and thanks i should be up and riding again in a couple of weeks, may even go for a short ride on the road bike tomorrow

    @jim
    … off to see the chaps at freeborn on thursday and have now decided that i may try the large wheel thing… possibly in carbon!

    excellent (mrs vader is sat next to me spell checking FFS!!!) thanks for these. hooks are added to the shopping list. will have to put some of the hooks fairly low as mrs vader is a short a**e (goes to find ice for minor bruising to ribs)

    i am hopfully on the last month or so of a 11 month stint off the bike. my advice would be…
    same a most of the sensible options from previous posts, and…
    strip and rebuild bikes so there are no last second “oops should have fixed that” on the first ride back out.
    try and stay as fit as possible, i have put nearly a stone and a half on since last year AND i do an active job.
    oh and new bike related rsearch is… sometimes depressing, wanting to go and test bikes and not being able sucks

    2 displaced vertebrae in my neck from an old rugby injury
    torn cartelege in my right knee

    planar fasciitis in right foot
    and i go in to hospital tomorrow to get 2 ligaments fixed (hopfully) in my left wrist…

    I will definitely try to get a test ride of the bandit… but tbf the majority of my riding is down south. Hence the 120mm area of fs…. good for trail and epic days out but fun on the bigger stuff…
