I think you still need to pursue it through RM, as you have stated, they shouldn’t get off the hook because of a generous persons actions. They still F’ed up royally ( 😉 ) and shouldn’t be allowed to wriggle away.

On a serious note it is ridiculous what has happened to the OP (and countless others it would seem from that other thread), not got much faith left in RM, not going to be sending anything of value with them any more.

I’m forever cutting me sen at work (the inhumanity of it all 🙁 </emo>) n taking chunks out me self on the bike and never fainted. Not too fussed when its me.
However, I once bit and ate a big chunk off a block of resin then watched the film Hannibal, whitied at the scene where (Spoiler alert) he takes the top of his head off, woke up on the floor in my living room sweating cobs. Not sure which was the culprit there. I have since watched the film again and felt very queasy at that scene but not passed out. The scene in Hard Candy (spoiler alert) where she cuts his knackers off made me whitey too, sat next to a rather attractive lady 😳

By the war against drugs or the war between various interests in the production and distribution to supply drugs despite prohibition. Its nothing other than sheer greed that drives those producers to carry on producing and supplying, and nothing other than blinkered self interest in its consumption. It seems curious to blame legislation for the casualties of those actions on the legislators than on the makers and buyers.

If it was legalised and regulated they would have to become legal too or be pushed out of the market, lots of new people would get into it legally cos, lets face it, its a big money spinner. The tobacco companies don’t go round gunning each other down because everyone’s looking at them and it’d be bad for business (simplified somewhat).

No War on Drugs, no Drug Wars (possibly warring in the courtroom).

I paid £30 pw ten years ago (20% of wage), seemed reasonable to me. Now i pay two thirds of my wage out on living costs, bloody rubbish.

On a serious note, the black market economies are in the billions of pounds, untaxed, unregulated and with no comeback. Users feel like they cant go anywhere if they get shit stuff or get ill due to social stigma. Unregulated markets means you could literally be ingesting anything. Dealers are getting rich off other peoples misery, that misery could be funding our schools and hospitals.

My mam and little sister are both overweight, so I’m not just saying this to be a dick.

Now that the obese and overweight are in the majority, and we have a bleeding hearts culture that panders to them- “don’t call them fat, they might comfort eat if you do” (F RIGHT OFF! It’s not being told they are overweight on a regular basis that allows them to think its ok to carry on that way. The majority of overweight people think they are an ok weight, according to that radio 4 programme) We won’t get a government that really cracks down on unhealthy eating because they’d lose too much in terms of votes.
The country is doomed to pay, i reckon we should sell off the NHS then if they have to pay for their own insulin (diabetes 2, I believe that’s the one that’s your own fault), a myriad of surgeries, reinforced ambulances, extra large beds, gastric bands, heart medication etcetera etceteraaah they might realise the social impact of “ooh, just one more cake” and not that its just them waddling around, filling the place up with their extra bulk.

I like fat people, I just couldn’t eat a whole one.

Two dogs off the lead charged at me yesterday as I was riding uphill, they were barking and carrying on so I got off my bike and put it between me and them. They kept circling round and charging/ barking. A couple of minutes later the owner appears round the corner and berates me for putting my bike between me and the dogs, she says they don’t like bikes 🙄 . I told her I didn’t like dogs that weren’t under control and suggested she keep them on the lead. Then as I continued on my merry way she shouts “Have a bit more respect for the woods we all use!” oh teh ironing!
I carried on and forgot about it on the next bit of sweet singletrack 8) until now 👿
