I had sky up until November 2012, then I swapped to virgin. Faster broadband, tivo, catch up and on demand through your box, youtube through the box. i got the medium tv package so i could have the extreme channel and a couple of documentay (hee hee, shamon!) channels. costs me the same, i get more and faster stuff, only problem is them ringing me up every 3 months trying to get me to take a mobile phone contract out with them.

edit- but i will be going to freeview when my tv contract runs out, more brass for bike bits then!

I’d love a meter, £24.00 a month/ single occupier, but the useless turd that came to do the survey couldn’t figure out which pipe fed my house. Complained to Yorkshire Water about it, they reduced my bill to £22-50 a month, pffft! I was fuming.

Amongst the many anti smoking warnings on fag and baccy packets there is one which reads “Protect children, don’t make them breathe your smoke.” If you watch TV you will have seen an advert that shows the range smoke can travel to and its effectiveness at causing harm even if you can’t see or smell it. Children especially so as they have underdeveloped lungs and generally aren’t as big and tough as me (deffos) and you (possibly 😉 ). Just because they’re outside doesn’t mean the smoke won’t get into their lungs, it’s just not sat there going in and out repeatedly like it would in an enclosed environment. If you can smell it, it’s definitely harming you, maybe only a bit, but so what? Would you let someone pull a strand of your hair out? It’s just one strand, it’s not going to do much, but if every inconsiderate bastard in the world did it then you’d be bald.

Edit- don’t reckon i’d say owt though (guess I’m not that big or tough either 😳 )
