The problem you have is that 1.0 is a fine thread so trying some metal cement and retapping would more than likely not give enough “bite” to the axel and it would drop off. To be honest i reckon its buggered unless your LBS are magicians. I work in engineering building and repairing woodworking machines and threads can be real buggers, especially if your trying to reduce it down.
Suppose the moral of the story is get the right tools for the job.

Good CGI, but it was too long, no story, the bird is pretty fit. Shia la boeuf is as annoying as always. I laughed once, got tense a couple of times (i’d had a curry and was sat with people i didn’t want to fart all over), and cried zero times. Didnt see the need for the random f-bombs either, they never had that in the cartoons!

Don’t bother, save yourself 2 and a half hours, go for a ride instead.

May be to do with your traumatic childhood experience, I had a similair thing with creepy crawlies.
When we were younger me n my brother shared a bedroom, one night he jumped out of bed screaming his head off and it turns out a moth had been trying to crawl into his ear! it was a big bugger n all, its body was about the thickness and length of my little finger. Now i hate all manner of flying creepy crawlies, devils spawn that they are.
Back on topic and to be fair, I’m not too arsed about my own blood, but it can get a bit wierd seeing other peoples blood, think thats more to do wi being subconciously sympathetic to their pain. I’m a deep and tortured soul.

Surely human decency would mean you stick two fingers to your boss and save the bloke whos bloody drowning! :| I know theres too much of a blame claim culture but come on people, a bit of compassion for your fellow man wouldn’t go amiss. And if the officer was in danger of losing their job i’m sure the mail could start a campaign to force the bosses to allow the “offending” officer to return to work.

Clearly an uninsured driver, didn’t want the police involved, pissed off before they arrived, i bet when the police got to the shop it was someone else they saw, more than likely the registered keeper. Pursue it to the full extent that you can and unless they’re amazing pizzas i wouldn’t be eating there again.
