It has been alluded to before, i think the key factor in this is the laziness of people. People are bone idle, probably the same people who ride round on a shop mobility scooter cos they’re too lazy to walk round morrisons for 20 minutes.

I’d agree but my understanding is that neutering (chemical or otherwise) doesn’t work on rapists as the psychology of the crime is about control rather than sex.

The justice systems attitude to rape and its victims is apalling. This does not send a very good message to other children and people in general. And no matter who you are, at 14 you know raping a 4 year old is wrong.
Maybe its time to start talking about other deterrents, you’d neuter a dog if it wasn’t controlling itself. People who act like animals should be treated like animals. If that doesn’t fly well with you liberals i’ll ask you something- how many peple would you be willing to kill so that no one else in the world had to suffer? Would you kill a hundred people so no one ever has to die from cancer? The needs of the many should far outweigh the “rights” of the few. It only takes 1 bad person to ruin the life of many good people.

17″ or 15.5″ Dialled PA for a 5′ 9″ lad? The price is right, not sure if 17″ will be a little too big. I’d rather run a longer seat post than have a 17″ frame, can anyone think of any problems i might have doing this i.e. over stressing the tubes??

Pretty much every time the travellers come to town tools dissappear from our workshop and vans, coincidence? Me thinks not as they’ve already been down a day or two previous to have a nosey round for “scrap”, just wandering into the workshop and their eyes are darting around all over the place, clocking where our tackle is. I’m not nasty to em cos i dont want any bother but i won’t give em owt any more, we used to have a right nice lad come and take our scrap for about 6 months then he came and took a load and never came back wi the brass, shot himself in the dick there. As has been said before, 100+ times bitten, very bleeding shy.

Well, for a start its not road tax, It was VED, it’s now called vehicle tax or car tax officialy (dont think it’s called ved anymore). So it’s a tax on vehicles on the road, which for cars is based loosely around how much they pollute. Some cars pay zero. Bikes pay zero.

Roads and repairs are generally paid for by local councils. so that’ll be council tax which is paying for them. Folk generally pay that regardless of whether they drive, cycle, walk etc….

Motorways are more likely to be central government funded, who obviously get revenue from all over, not just vehicle tax, but vehicle tax will contribute to. Bikes aren’t allowed on motorways.

This is correct. I suggest people read the thread before posting something that makes you look daft, continuing to call it road tax doesn’t make it so.

rwc03- can you explain “dished” to me please? i’m not very au fait with tech terms. The wheels are the ones that came with the frame as far as i know, when it had the slicks in it ran fine but i suppose they aren’t as wide so i wouldnt notice it anyway.

Fair play to red bull for the great coverage but if they’re gonna bill it as being the live womens and mens finals surely you should show the LIVE womens and mens finals, not just a replay of the top 3 (or so) women and the men live.
