I made it as far as their little party. Some of the facial hair on display was impressive, some of the riding was very anti social but i also caught myself smiling and thinking “ha, car drivers, i bet they are getting their knickers in a right bunch about this!”
Does nothing to improve the view of cyclists on the roads but i can imagine in london this being quite fun as the cars are all stationary (generalistion from the limited footage, no evidence to back it up) the majority of the time, if this happened in leeds i reckon they’d end up under a bus pretty sharpish, or getting knocked about when they tried riding through a group of folk on the pedestrian walkway.

the biggest problem is packing his sleeping bag

My three season sleeping bag is massive, i don’t reckon it’d go under the handlebars, but it is only a cheapo one. Is it a case of the more expensive you go the smaller/ warmer they get? Wanting to start doing some overnight stuff but don’t want to freeze to death on my first one and put my self off another trip.

Huzzah! I love playing in the woods. I found some new trails within riding distance of my house, someone’s been busy in the woods and I intend to make sure it gets the use it deserves. Last weeks ride was a brushing up on skills ride, todays was much more fun because of it.

You can read it that way if you want, i read it as someone posting a link to a story about harrasment of women and a laugh out loud emotican, i took that as them thinking it funny. i hardly see how its an escalation, i think its a valid point. With all the guff that was posted on the “girls you could watch all day thread” by the OP i think this thread and its implications are a bit inconsiderate and hypocritical.

I’d rather buy 150 quids worth of music and films/ programmes i want to listen to/ watch. A netflix and spotify account together wouldn’t be much more and the choice and convenience would far outweigh anything the beeb offers. But aunty says i must pay and the budget doesn’t stretch that far.
