Cardboard box is fine, when are you going? Where are you? There may be someone local with one to borrow for beer tokens?

I used high temperature radiator paint on our storage heaters. Freshened them up and they look good.

If the seller was a dealer the car comes with a 6 month “warranty” where any issue is said to have existed at the point of sale so the seller is liable.. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/buying-or-repairing-a-car/problems-with-a-used-car/

I’m in the market for a new kettle. I think we’re going to go for an insulated one, I have several cups of tea in the morning and I’m hoping the insulated kettle will stop a lot of kettle boiling!

I always Trek frames are a little on the small side and always have to size up.. This may be the reason for the difference between On-one and Trek?

House contents insurance for the win. I’ve had my bikes on them for decades, only made one claim, I snapped a bike on a drop-off in Bike Park Wales. Bike was insured for accidental damage, new for old. I received the new RRP within a week straight to my bank account!

If it was on a bike I already owned I’d live with it until it failed. If it was a new (to me) bike I’d be knocking off the price of a new wheel..

I’ve got one too and it’s fab! Down in the S/E near Brighton if you wanted to have a go?

Sorry about the bad news. Riding/exercise is often seen as beneficial for CV diseases. Worst case maybe an e-bike?

My little girl has one, she’s 9, it’s already nearly too small for her.

I’ve repaired a seat stay that was cracked. I ordered the kit off of Ebay, followed the instructions, it’s not pretty but it is very strong!

I’ve got a glow in the dark Pompetamine and it’s fab. Bought it a couple of years ago, it took a bit of a wait but they do come up for sale sometimes 2nd hand

I decided I didn’t need a fatbike and then bought one just before the snow.. It was fab, now just need to get out as test it in ‘normal’ conditions. I have a feeling it’s going to quickly become my favourite bike..

Or if they’ve got other emails they’ve been sent from the source then compare this header with the ‘new’ ones.

Have they/you looked at the extended headers on the emails to identify the IP address from where they were sent? If not then google it or I can give advice. If it shows that they are from the same source then you might be able to narrow down the field?

My wife is a kitchen fitter and finds some people who use Howdens a little dishonest.. They, as a matter of routine, add £500 to every kitchen quote and pay it to the fitter.. Not good. Mrs T now tries to avoid them because of it

The answer is a cargo bike. I can fit most of our shopping in the two panniers, anything else goes in a box strapped to the top deck..

I’m amazed at this question. Morally and I would hope legally the right thing to do is to pay for the damage that you have caused..

Why wont they replace it? If it’s under two years old it’s still in warranty. I’d go and try again and explain that you’d expect a frame to last more than 2 years!

You can deal with this through the civil courts. You would take him to court for the difference in price between what you would’ve paid and what the cost of a similar bike 2nd hand is. I’ve done it when buying something new and the seller withdrew. I personally would do it, but then I’m a git who believes people should be held accountable.

It may be worth asking for photo’s of the damage etc to build up some more evidence.. Small claims court is relatively simple and you can already show you’ve tried to remedy the situation without success.

These are the best I’ve ever owned and come with a lifetime warranty.. And did I mention their carbon fibre! What’s not to like!

Say you’re sending it back, wait a few days and then ring up for the price again. Whether it’s the current auction price or not, there are associated costs that they wont have if they sell direct to you.. We saved £3k on a similar priced end of PCP deal offer.

I have to say that I don’t get the furore.. None of the photo’s show ‘blacking up’ in the black and white minstrels sense. I can understand the historical issues with the minstrels, however to suggest that you can’t ‘be’ someone as a fancy dress costume because 60years ago it was done to demean people seems a little tenuous. At some point or other all races have opressed, attacked, waged war on others. It just seems that we’ve all settled on the white folks being the baddies..

If you want comfy seats and a decent screen I’d say go to Crawley. A lot newer and a lot better than both cinemas in Brighton!

If it’s more of a store room I’d just use 8×4 sheets of pvc cladding on the walls. Will work out reasonably cheap for a small toilet and is amazingly wipe cleanable..

We’ve got one that replaced our ageing Fiat Multipla, I worked out that the cost of running, repairing, taxing and putting fuel in the multipla was the same cost as a Nissan Leaf on a PCP and fueling it.

We got a PCP deal for a mid-range leaf for £175 per month.

It’s our only car (although we’ve got a camper) and 99% of the time is more than adequate. When we need to do lots of miles quickly I generally borrow a car.

I have to say try carwow website and play the dealers off against each other. My local Nissan dealer wanted over £225 per month. Got it a lot cheaper and just had to collect from Bristol..
