Let’s me log in on my android tablet. Seems to have lost the device though, so need to repair.

App only seems to be useful for calibration though, can’t say I’ve felt the need to change firmware versions.

So I stripped the freewheel down on Monday and degreased it. Put some 3-in-1 oil back on and it seems to have improved, for now. Being a cheap-git™ I can cope with this solution if it’s just an occasional fix.

It’s a simple design, 3x pawls and a simple spring to keep them in. Maybe future fettling will involve experimenting here, but will keep it simple for now

Did anyone self solve the sticky freewheel? Mine is starting to do it and would prefer to solve it than return it and risk only getting a refund rather than a fixed trainer

Mine has arrived today, any suggestions for biggest bang for buck app?
Looking to use TrainerDay to communicate at least a ramptest workout. I have a Garmin that can transmit my daily workouts from a training plan, but planning special workouts on my Garmin pushing Erg mode seems above me?

Pending transaction for me on my CC, and both “Order Confirmed” and “Order Processed” emails through from Sports Direct.

Turns out space wasn’t the thing stopping me from getting a static trainer, it was not wanting to pay money to people! Now to find free training software…

    “You’re not a f*cking taxi!”

From a Taxi driver whilst I was in the Bus/Taxi/Cycle lane. I mean I’m glad he could tell the difference, shows they aren’t letting just anyone drive.

I’ve had three Chinese lights and the only problem I’ve had was the mount falling off, easy enough to fix either by replacing the bolt or with Jubilee clips.
However, if you have access to a CNC, I made a collar for mine that means I can fit it on a tripod mount and therefore a GoPro mount. I’m currently making a version that can be 3D printed.

@project I went to Uni after working for two years and I still need my parents help for Halls fees. I have a surplus of money I accrued whilst working the year before going and with the money I got from the grant I still came through the year with slightly less savings than I started with. Some people get more money if their parents don’t earn as much, and so can get away with it, but for many others, loans don’t even cover the exorbitant funds that Uni Halls demand.

Jobs, in Plymouth at least, are not as easy to get as you might think especially as employers prefer a person who doesn’t need to fit the job around their 39 hours a week on Studies. Schools are cr*p at teaching you the realities of life, mine didn’t even show us how to write a CV.

Some people need advice and OP doesn’t need that brand of “advice”.

I have access to the whole Autodesk suite as a student, so I can use 123D Catch, I’ve been looking for a reason to use that one all year! :-)

I really like my Sond, Bluetooth or aux input and only £18 at the moment. Ebuyer have some cracking deals on Sond products at the moment and they are British designed too!

Looks nice, I bought a similar one from ICAN bikes (http://www.icanbikes.com/html/Cross_Country/257.html) and it looks very similar, even got similar curve on the back of the forks.
So speaking about my experience on the ICAN, it rides really well, very “racey” feel to the geo and the forks do make a noticeable difference to road buzz.

I CNC’d a mount to fit a Chinese CREE light so I can put it on my GoPro mount, and keep it off the top of the handlebars

The initial hole was made to fit exactly the Outside Diameter of the light, I then put it in the oven at 180 for half an hour, slipped it on, and it ain’t ever going to come off again!
