It’s not so much the cost of the parts, I just don’t have a lot of hose to play with.

    Cheers all

    Good question

The problem is the nut which secures the hose to the caliper is held captive on the hose by the olive.

The nut is far too big to fit through through the internal routing.

Hadnt thought of that. Great idea, thanks

It’s not an airshow 😄 some of the photographer’s can spend hours up there without seeing a thing but there are so many variables you just can’t be sure.

That being said It’s gotta be worth an hour and you never know your luck.

I took delivery of a tideace cx072 today. £400 incl postage. Duty and admin worked out just under £40.

Steel frame will have more than enough flex to do exactly what you want. I used to do it loads back in the day.

How about starting with ITV’s tour de France greatest moments on YouTube and go from there.

Bound to be loads of classic stages  condemsed into an hour or so by following the links.

Also check the routing of the chain through the rear mech

Yeap.works fine with a superstar n/w chainring on my cyclo-cross bike.

Not an adventure frame but this seems crazy value for money if your after a winter non disc road bike.

Usual caveats apply as I don’t have one.

Well, no takers on here meant the jersey was returned for a refund with a note explaining how lovely the jersey was and that I was disappointed it didn’t fit.

Hannah at Flare kindly emailed me to offer another size, whilst I didn’t take up the offer (as I suspect the option would be a bit too big) I was impressed that someone at the company was prepared to go above and beyond to support their customer and will keep an eye on their website in future.

Clearance is very similar between the v1 and V2 if not the same

Riddler 37 would be my recommendation based on not using them.

I ran 40mm nanos on my V1 and V2 without issue. Doesn’t leave loads of mud clearance and does need a pretty true wheel.  That’s on stock crosslight wheels.

I suspect you’ll find it’s a generic hub and I doubt the freehub is easily serviceable.  You maybe able to replace the freehub if you can find one.

<span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>That being said you may be lucky and it may be serviceable just depends on the hub and without seeing it it’s impossible to say.</span>

You’ll definitely need a chain whip and a cassette tool. You’ll probably need 17 and 19mm cone spanners an adjustable spanner and you might need some large Allen keys 8 or 10mm.

Best bet would be to do a bit more googling to see if anyone has identified the hub for your bike and then look for further instructions.

    Good luck

It’ll be fixed but still good viewing.

The video above from the tv director is amazing.

As mentioned above I bought the last road Jersey in medium.  The good news, the jersey is a really lovely bit of kit.

Unfortunately it’s too small for me.

I offered it to CP above but it’s looking too small for him as well.

If anyone wants to take it off my hands for £25 (what i paid Inc postage) let me know otherwise I’ll return it.

    Joystick and a red eye.

Very effective but I’d still want something fixed in place as the beam can be misplaced if you wobble your head/helmet about.

I’d ride it. Not sure I’d buy it.

I had a couple of those for a while too.

I’m now riding a charge spoon and a charge knife. The knife is probably closest to the SLR with a little more padding.

hhmm, did you pay £96 in the end then?

let me know if you want to sell it on when you’re done building.

That was my impulse buy. Sorry.

If it’s too small I’ll get in touch

First class race and more importantly first class event.

The bike doesn’t even need a clean which after Fridays ran is amazing.

Big shout to every one involved in putting this event for all the hard work. It’s hugely appreciated many many thanks.

Thats a great price, when I looked at this before there were some restrictions with the play over the g6 but I can’t remember what they are off hand.  Definitely check the specs.

Smart Sam is a very versatile tyre in 700 and seems to fit the bill. How it works in 24″ I don’t know.

I have smallblock 8 on my daughter’s 24″ bike which would also fit the bill.

Dont worry about the keys and glad you don’t feel guilty.

I think i would also be tempted to write this in a letter to the DVLA as well. Just in case the police fail to pass on the information.

My Motorola did this. It was a lack of internal memory. May not be the same for you but worth checking
