Interior fan resistance switch does this on my car. The smell is horrible in the car, but not in the engine.

I can’t think of anything useable that will last sensibly.

You can get many hours out of a joystick whilst on a lower setting which whilst not cheap is probably cheaper than feeding something half decent and waterproof with duracell.

Edit, recommending exactly what you specifically said you don’t want isn’t hugely helpful, feel free to ignore me – apols.

I have a pair of sliver because sadly frogskins don’t suit my face. However the quality of the glasses is poor compared to other Oakleys. I wear them for running so they have a fairly tough life but the lenses haven’t held up well and I managed to knock an arm off.

I’d look to upgrade the stem, bars and seat post if they are basic models. Ritchey stuff can be had for a reasonable outlay.

Its losing 7,500 ft/min, that seems pretty impressive to me.

I suggest you’ll need to adapt holding and riding in what is a very different position to your road bike.

If it creaks when you ride it then I’d reinspect, otherwise I wouldn’t worry.

Just received the kc008 from AliExpress. First expressions they look genuine and the same as the other set I have.

Previous experience has shown the pins do come out easily, so loctite them in if you wish. although they are grippy enough without them.

Cassette looks okay but I’d be amazed if it accepts a new chain.

Thanks Neil, I’ve spent a lot of time on your website the last few days but they are too expensive for me I’m afraid.

I would start by looking at the governance documents for your organisation on the charity commission website. That will give you an idea about the structure etc.

Superb, on the back of this I’ve just subscribed. Not really sure why I haven’t before to be honest. (Although I used a different email address to the one I use here, does that matter?)

Moto g7 play is less than £100 at Argos at the moment.dont know specifically if it’ll run Garmin connect but it’s fine with the TomTom equivalent.

Just donated bunnyhop. Really inspiring work you’re doing. Thank you and the rest of your volunteers.

What are people doing for pedals on kids bikes these days? Wellgo kc001 are hard to come by, I think I found some on AliExpress but I’m waiting to see what actually turns up.

A back up plan would be useful.

Just put an order in with gunbrewery, thanks to the recommendation above.

None they just swap the hoses. Easier than on an mtb.

As above, I use muc off dry as it’s easier to source.

On that basis it might be worth getting a different inflator – it might be cheaper in the long run??

Not sure it’s a bargain, but it’s good value

What size was the boardman frame you took the parts off? The older frames were pretty good so you could just build that up again.

Dunno, have you had a look at the offerings from Planet X?

I tried to get one repaired locally but noone would touch it.

When I asked I think someone recommended a mail order firm that could do it,but it wasn’t cost effective.

Avid do them with their BB5, I think planet X stock them.

Not sure a London road will play nicely with 40mm tyres. I recall trying to get some nano’s on mine, they were mega tight with barely any clearance.
