I don't understand the black and yellow bike, designed by an artist? Looks like a black bike with yellow stickers to me.

I have a Blackburn Mars 3.0 which is impressive. The light comes wih a lifetime warranty, which is useful as the switch is a bit hit and miss.

I have just ordered 2 smart 1/2 watt from Wiggle

I did a bit of research, the Cherry bomb seems to be as brigh as the smart with better pattern, but it gets through batteries a lot quicker than the Smart.

So I figured, 2 smart lights would be cheaper in the long run than regularly replacing batteries on the cherry bomb, might be wrong though.

Anyone ever weatherproofed a rear light? If so, how. Tape around the edge/join doesn't seem to work.

Even without the postal strike I wouldn't take the chance if it was needed for tomorrow.

It needs to be resest, suggest a google or flick around the menus and see what you can find.

Surely depends on the roads doesn't it? Mileage not as important as the time.

    I have no idea sorry.
I do know that a number of the early E5 Sworks frames were sold cheaply by CRC about 4-5 years ago (maybe more??). They were grey import and didn't come with a headset and there were lots of threads on various forums asking for information on which headset to use. They would appear to have been (don't know if they still are) very unique and so I would be very careful deciding which one to buy as a replacement.
    Maybe email Specialized UK?

The 'cone' on my S-Works E5 is removable, its not part of the headset. I have removed it on all my E5's over the years.

not purchased slx as a group, but all my othe groupsets have. Road and mtb.
Could depend on the shop though – could be used as a cost saving?

Are you sore for the whole area of the shorts or just the chamois part? Is it the whole chamois area affected?

    All,

Thanks for this, a lot of options to consider.

I bought some running 'tights' which I hope wil be more omfortable than running in tracksuit bottoms.

To avoid a fashion faux pas, would shoul, or shouldn't I wear underneath?

    Thanks again

A quick google for Garmin shows some pretty expensive kit.

    Are the pedometers any good?

I do use Gmap, but many of the routes I use (bridleways, footpaths) aren't on it, so I have to guess.

So, the brake levers seem to be these:
    http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Tektro-Tektro-RL520-Aero-V-Brake-Levers–Black-14956.htm

Can I just put some old V brakes on or will mini v's be required?

"put a titanium sticker on it "

Wont that make it too flexy and spongy?

So lets assume a mismatch between canti and v's.

Should I switch the levers to canti compatible or the cantis to mini v's?

Also, do normal road levers work with v's or canti's?

    Thanks

edit, ah yes, looks like the brakes have been swapped, although for better brakes:

Check details of the household insurance. But I suspect unless it is locked in a brick building you may not be covered.

I always used to ride my (only) best bike to school, unless it was raining, when I'd bunk off. As for liability, I expect you are on your own, I doubt your household insurance would pay up nor the school.

Only take what you can afford to get nicked.

Most local garages will have the diagnostic kit and can check the codes for you.

However, if it is something only vauxhall can repair, you'll have to pay for diagnosis at the local garage and at vaux too.

As you say, could be many things.

If you have one, ask your normal/local garage to take a look.

agree, shred anything important and dont worry. Also, tell em you have seen them doing it and ask if there are any magazines they want you to give them once you are finished.

We have a boy rabbit, not had his bits chopped.

He lives in the kitchen, really enjoys being stroked and gets on very well with our 1 year old. He has the run of the garden when we are home and has a conservatory with a variety of boxes to chew and climb in and over.

Very clean, does everything in the hutch, but does make the house smell of rabbit.

Not sure about a rabbit in a flat, as ours really enjoys going outside, runs and jumps about sniffing all the smells and eating the grass and flowers etc when he gets released.

My little girl is coming up to 1 year old, is this considered the right time for them to be able to ride on a bike seat?

What are the signs she is ready? She can sit fine, pulls herself up etc, doesn't sit still for long though.
