I had one of those. I had no idea it had a Schrader valve.

Actually, coverage about to start. Race itself might be a bit later

RIP big dog. Huge thanks to everyone that had a hand in putting these on over the years.

Blimey how big are your feet?

The top hat? I reckon someone here will be able to salvage one from an old bottom bracket.

Think that would be a lovely thing to do. Is the wall in East Sussex by any chance??

I guess you could get a new key made from an emergency key locksmith in the meantime.

As above. Try resetting it. But If the key doesn’t work in the door, you’ve been given the wrong key surely?

Might be useful at a local YMCA.

Also check the cable is routed correctly.

I honestly don’t think anyone knows anymore.

Well this thread is all kinds of awesome.

I’d very carefully use a dremel to try and cut it out.

It’s only .7mm it’ll be fine. Some seatposts come up small/large anyway.

I’d be tempted to pop the one you took out back in and not worry.

Good luck op. Let us know how you get on

Unlikely pace have got it wrong everywhere. A quick Google suggests 31.6. might need to open the clamp a little.

Can you get some calipers to measure the seatpost you removed?

You get a new bike every week??

I’m not a mechanic, but would have thought jamming a handbrake on at 60mph will eat the shoes or glaze them over.

I would imagine tightening the handbrake cable would have been sufficient to pass the test. Worth asking the tester if you can as they are normally very knowledgeable.

    Sorry not really much help.

Is it a Vauxhall? Faulty dpf sensor if so.

To finish before dark at this time of year is impressive. Nice work.

You did that today and finish already? There’s quite a tailwind but that’s amazing.
    Well done

The front slides? As in the front wheel is locked up? Or just doesn’t slow down.

If the first you’ve got more than enough braking power.

If the latter I would suggest your pads and rotors are contaminated or not bedded in properly (or both)

Give the rotors a really good clean with isopropyl. New pads then some heat cycles through them once fitted. See how you get on

What you need to do, as I found out this week, is ride a bike with really rubbish brakes for a while.

Then hop on your normal bike, head down a hill, brake as normal and you’ll find you’ve not been pulling the lever as hard as you could and you’ll quickly discover the margins for breaking traction are far greater than you thought.

Yeah you have all the adjustment, use it

Ring it occasionally, in case anyone has picked it up.

Commit a serious crime and wait for the police to triangulate it?

    Neither are very practical, sorry

Assuming you want a layback seat post any single bolt cheap seatpost will be the quickest solution. Should be able to get a kalloy for £10.

Just a note I don’t tend to find the turbo to be truly reflective of road riding conditions for the bottom. it’s not a bad way to test it but not fully reliable.

This is so awesome, I desperately want Cav to get a stage (at least)

The CN article makes it sound like Lefevre threw Bennett out of the your squad for not telling the truth.
