If you really have to move the laptop about, remove the battery, it saves a slot of the weight.

Carrying a laptop about is a major PITA. Hope u get it sorted. I would ask very nicely for a locker or see if I could share with someone who has got one

I tend to ride a big grippy front tyre and a panaracer xc 1.8 at the rear, seems to work well

Our beko has been first class.

As above avoid anything by hotpoint

If I put a dent in a too tube, I’d still ride it but this sounds like it’s been wrongly advertised. Id be seeking a refund

I couldn’t get the barb to take enough to allow me to tap it in. Make the hole bigger sounds like a plan.

Ive not tried it, but I can’t see it staying on the chain very long.

I see what you mean (I’m assuming your concern isn’t the superstar sticker) It seems very odd to picture it like that as I can’t imagine it’s ridden that way, but history seems legit.

I found a lot of the weight of a laptop was in the battery, if you can, commute without it (or have one each end?)

Get onto your insurance. It’s not worth the hassle chasing him up yourself.

Just be prepared to change your insurance at renewal

Yeah, there will be a damp proof underlay. That should probably do it.

I agree with adsh. I struggled with punctures and it played on my mind terribly

Then I had a major mechanical with 6 miles to go.

It was a nightmare day but I loved every minute of it and hated it in equal measure.

The Winchester end is tough, it’s up or down for the first 30 and I found it very different to the last 70 miles which are easier to navigate and all very similar.

In addition to the above, a cleaned out toothpaste tube makes a great tyre boot
