When we had ours done we found that the cost for a conservatory with a proper roof was very high still with many of the compromises stated above.

We couldn’t afford this and went with a normal conservatory with upgraded glass. It was still too hot and too cold at certain times of the year but did give us a lovely bright extra room the majority of the year for a fairly reasonable sum.

If you can afford it get an extension

Thanks all. I don’t NEED new cranks, but the BB on the current one needs replacing and I only just realised it’s an Fsa with a 19mm axle so it seems like a good idea to swap it for something more standard

Thanks Jo. Any reason I can’t use MTB crankarms assuming I can find a suitable chain ring??

Agree the first couple weeks after the clock change are a nightmare.
I’m currently struggling to see runners, who seems duty bound to dress entirely in black on shared cycle paths. I’ve had a couple of very near misses, especially when dazzled by oncoming car lights.

No help whatsoever but you just reminded me I need to change the BB on my pomp before I ride tomorrow. Thanks

Thanks for posting this OP. We were stood on the cliff edge watching the photoshoot, I was hoping to see the pics.

The photos were taken by a SkyVan

Based on your experience so far, I reckon running a new chain on that cassette would destroy the chain.

I really don’t need anymore oakleys (repeat until the urge to ‘buy’ disappears)

Google reveals nothing for the tl67 but googling jl350 pics suggest they are the same as the ones on the Isla bike.
I think you’ll need some tektro mini vs too as the brakes on the ridgeback aren’t great either.

So the cnoc had a tektro TL67

You can read some of the codes by pressing brake and accelerator together and turning ignition key to the second position. Fault codes will be displayed on the odometer.

As above, you probably pedalled harder and nailed every turn quicker than normal due to riding a new bike

What’s the gearing? I’m guessing hydraulic of some kind.

What a great post Zachary. Condolences to you and your family.

I’ve just downloaded the St. John ambulance app as recommended earlier in the thread. Hope I never need it, but it might give me a bit more confidence or a prompt if I’m ever faced with an incident.

FSA Pig isnt semi-integrated though is it? (You beat me to it with your edit)

I struggled to find the right semi-integrated headset for my bike recently, I cant really advice which one you need for your bike though. maybe try the cane creek headset finder to get an idea of which one you need?
