    Night bump.

I’ll be keeping an eye out when I’m out and about.

    Excellent work

Yeah I do. I also think it’s related to an upgrade as I can’t see its doing anything else

I’ve got the same issue in the same timeframe. Laptop that was running fine has suddenly started slowing down and the fan runs lots.
I’ve run some clean up software and checked for malware but not solved anything yet.

To be fair a lump hammer would make light work of most doors.

I looked to do mine but didn’t quite get round to it in the end. My research suggested gorilla tape as the way forward.

None in my experience. Flushing with GT85 just delays the inevitable.

I would go with Krytons suggestion . You do know that the wide teeth go between the outer chain links and the narrow teeth fit between the inner chain links

    .

Seriously, this is a joke right? please dont make me pop outside to check mine

Ah that explains why my post about pedals created a link to hargroves cycles. It’s really misleading as it looks like I linked to them, but I didn’t.

Does the manual tell you what torque should be on it? Might indicate whether you just need to be tougher with it. That said, if it’s 3mm it’s unlikely to need a lot of torque.

Have you seen the cannondale trigger thread?? They seem to be going down a storm

The whole story is so ridiculous – I’m guessing there is no motor, mechanical doping is a complete fabrication and the story has been entirely made up by the family and the UCI.

The UCI gain through increase revenues/tv rights/sponsorship.
The family gain with a huge film deal.

    :-)

Surely the question should be who saw that from the UCI and didn’t use a motor at the world championships?

Did anyone underperform compared to expectations suggesting they previously a motor but took it off when they knew there would be testing?

I’m tempted to put a smilie here..

I dropped mine in the garage and it split. I sent the helmet back and told them what I had done and they did replace it under the scheme. You have to pay a few quid for the helmet, its significantly under retail but, if you hunt about enough you can normally get an older colour scheme but same model cheaper elsewhere.

I’m hoping it’s a one off, but if the technology is available and being used, despite the tests*, at this level then I’m concerned for the sport as whole,
    * presumably her and her mechanic thought they wouldn’t get caught?

At least we are now pretty clear that guessing your blood group would be an error.

my ill informed opinion is its not worse messing about for, I’d fess to your insurance company.

I reckon any penalty (extra premium probably) would be significantly less than the potential cost of the works.

A quick Google suggests you can get genuine ones for about £15. My original one is spot on, perhaps you were just unlucky with yours??

I don’t know this particular model hub but I did something similar with an older XT hub, using a box of different sized spacers and some vernier calipers.

Edit just googled the hub in question, there appears to be a disappointing lack of spacers to play with.

I’d still be keen to find out if it’s just this bike or if scott have changed the spec on all these models?

I bet the shop swapped the tyres hoping you wouldn’t notice
