Maybe the fuel was a super high spec so he purposefully used it all up then crashed the car.

I have a Ketter Storage box in the garden for the mower. Not sure I’d want to store my bikes in it as its really not very secure

(to answer my own post above) looking at some more pics I think its the fork offset that makes them look out of proportion in pics.

Sorry for the hijack, lovely looking bike subject to below…

The slate should really be my ‘one and only*’ bike, but…I’m not sure if its the dimensions or if its the suspension sitting unsagged but in all the pics they look a little out of proportion to me. e.g. a little too short in the top tube and a little too high in the head tube. Almost like a mountain bike with drop bars rather than a gravel/cross bike with a suspension fork.

I should try one, but really interested in peoples real world experiences.

The creaking I was convinced was coming from my headset, (I stripped, cleaned and regreased a number of times) turned out to be a loose bottom bracket cup.

It’s bs but I have found ‘upgrading’ bars, stem and seat post makes a marked difference to the bikes ride quality. Matching brands less important IME.

Mine was the same when I started running, just took a while to build up strength in area I don’t often use.

Though IANAD or a proper runner.

Depends who it is. If it’s cheaper abroad my guess would be its without warranty
