Rider error?  Come on,  no way he could have seen that in the bunch.

    <span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>Anyway, crash looked nasty, hoping he’s not too badly damaged.</span>

I’m not up to speed with 11 speed stuff but is it a road or mtb  hub?

As above the bike shouldn’t be holding you back but your symptoms suggest something is not right.

Maybe change the fork back to stock. Also get someone you trust to know about such things to check the bike is the right size and fit for you.

Also have you changed the tyres on it?

Lastly has the suspension been setup for you??

As above. Trying to get parts for formula hubs can be a nightmare.parts are available but what out exactly what hub you have is the hard part.

I’ve always used old school puncture repair patch and super glue. Talc over the top once dry.

FSA headsets are pretty good in my experience. Possibly the best for value for money. I’d be tempted to replace like for like, or leave it alone if it’s still working ok

Done, I couldn’t not having read the other thread. All the best to Bullheart and really generous ‘anon’.

MOT can be carried out up to one calendar month prior to the expiry date of your existing MOT certificate, whilst still preserving the anniversary of the expiry date. If you have your test carried out a month before the due date, your MOT is effectively valid for 13 months.

From memory it says the date on the certificate.

I tried muc off wet and had the same problem. Much better results with the dry.

MTB disc calipers are based on v brake lever pull.

Road disc calipers are based on road brake lever pull which is different.

You can use MTB calipers with road levers and vice versa but the bite point is all wrong so best avoided.

BB7 are easier to set up as you can adjust both pads in set up.

Well that’s all very positive, think it’s probably worth a punt.

Are grade C electronics best avoided?

I mentioned in a thread recently that my slx rear mech is crazy stiff with the clutch on. I’ve but resolved the issue I’m afraid but I think the mech is the problem. If it’s new send it back

No problem getting bikes on the trains. Try to avoid rush hour if possible.

I’d aim 60/40 as the last part is harder than the first. A B&B in Steyning would be ideal.

Someone here will get you a gpx.

I found the clutch amazing when I first got one, maybe I’ve been unlucky but as I put miles on it I found it’s increased the shift tension terribly, so is now only run off. Not dropped any more chains (running a super star nw chainring) but it’s noticeably noisier.

With external headsets I’ve always found it cheaper to buy a new headset and just replace the bits I need.

I’ve tried replacement bearings in the past but with limited success due to ordering the wrong ones and limited longevity.

I suspect the same could be said for internal headset’s.

Did they offer more than the asking price?

Regardless i would avoid, sounds dodgy as.
