Yes a 40mm nano is tight on my pro 6. A cross boss an easy fit

I do like the cross boss but the nano is a much more competent tyre.

    Blimey that’s impressive.

Probably easier to get the Mondeo fixed so it drives from both front wheels rather than just the one😀 that’s bound to improve handling.

I used the roofbox company. They are sound and very helpful on the phone..I brought some atera roofbars for my astra h but they were a pretty poor fit.

In the end I plumped for some generic Halfords ones which were spot on.

Glad its not just me that was baffled by this.

I was trying to bleed the caliper through the Allen bolt.as mentioned none of the YouTube videos helped at all.

It won’t die..in fact I reckon you can ride it for a good few thousand miles.

<span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>The cones are cheap and easily replaceable, it won’t help the bearing surface but might add some mileage?</span>

Looks to be some mighty transfers each day too. That can’t be nice.

I was going to guess a specialized.

The frame looks like it’s cracked where it’s been chiseled.  Good luck reporting/returning it.

I was going to ask what you would do with the 9 umbrellas, but Perchy has made a pretty good suggestion.

No knowledge of high rollers but it’s pretty slippy on the chalk up there at the moment even before any rain this weekend. I don’t think mud tyres are any grippier in these conditions so I’d stick with a standard tyre. Good luck.

Lol that sounds tough..there are a few places on the route where a missed sign would mean a long detour.

Cracking idea greatbeardedone, an unobtrusive GPS tracker attached to the bike would be spot on.

Devils dyke or ditchling beacon it you want to use the road..anywhere in between if you want to go off road.

You’re spoilt for choice really and I’m struggling to pick one over the other.

I think I’d be tempted to get onto the credit card company in the first instance about the incorrect charges.

Problem will be if a fine comrs through from the police, that’ll be trickier.

Agreed go straight to BC that’s what your paying for.

Get onto your home insurers in the first instance as they may be able to provide legal support. Assuming you’ve not got any other legal cover. BC etc.

Failing that I’d get onto their insurance company asap. Forget getting cash out of them itll never happen.

    Good luck

yeah – I like smart sams, they get quite exciting on wet grass, but a really good compromise for road/off road.

I would suggest the nano is a better all rounder as I find it a bit tougher, slightly more hard wearing, although that maybe because I have used the nano in 40mm and the smart sam in 32mm.

a 40 mm nano fits in the rear of a pro-6 – its tight mind

I reckon the length of the outers will be tight for front and rear full length. Best bet is to just measure the length of the outers on the bike.

Sounds like the CX Comp will be a vast improvement on the Roamers then.

I still maintain that the smart sam’ are a better all round tyre, not as hard wearing as the cx comp though.

Awful tyre in a 35. Very draggy.

The smart sam is much better all rounder in 35 guise. although I don’t know if it comes in a 38.
