I answered my own question, seems there is a aircraft carrier in the north sea

Well, if you removed it at the weekend it’s not seized in the usual way.

Is it spinning at all? Was it hard to tighten? perhaps it’s cross threaded, although in my experience this would result in not being able to tighten it.

Are you definitely turning it the right way??

There’s an E2 Hawkeye tracking in the north sea. It doesn’t show where it’s taken off from. I’ve never seen one over here before. Makes me wonder if there’s an aircraft carrier in the north sea.

Anyone know where they are flying from?

    That’s cool.

Mildenhall have F16s flying at the moment and there are some Canadian f18s about too, as well as all the usual stuff.

Given the amount of US and UK tankers tracking theres a lot up in the air lately.

It’s the rear mech. Or the mech hanger. Or the freehub body

I’m sure I’m being naive, but shouldn’t a cooker be the landlords responsibility?

Also, who remembers the days of taking a hyper racket  cassette tool in your massive saddle bag on a ride.  That would sort your issue on the trail.

To be fair I had the same from 6 bolt rotors once. The little bolts loosened enough for them to rock/knock.

Obviously my fault but quickly resolved on the trail.

@winston any idea from Facebook if they’ll be about tonight?  I had a quick Google but can’t see where they might have been going.

Looks awesome. Do not touch it up. Leave it or get a professional. You’ll put stone chips on it soon enough anyway.

So satisfying if you pull it out in one go though.

There’s a b52 returning from an operation over Peterborough at 10k feet heading for fairford. Keep an eye out if you’re on their route as there are likely to be some following.

As someone who had their infamous Xmas Garmin Instinct order cancelled, this thread isn’t helping with my grief 🤣

I frequently recommend a forerunner 45, not for your needs, but the battery is not great after 2.5 years use. I’ll probably go solar instinct next.

There’s at least 6 B52s (3 pairs) flying across to fairford from Norfolk at about 10k feet. They are occasionally tracking and returning from night missions .

Keep an eye out if you’re in the area.

As above. My first guess would be freehub

Don’t follow any of the above advice if it’s a TDK D90.

I’m currently using Garmin. If I was in the market for a new watch I’d have a look at DC rainmakers reviews of the coros. No idea if they are any good but I’d explore as a possible option.

I had this with my 45. I couldn’t fix it but it was in warranty so took it back.

How are you using WhatsApp on a tablet? I thought it was linked to a phone number?? I ask as assume only some tablets can use WhatsApp so may limit choices?

Does the car start with the key?

Might be worth joining a VW Facebook group to see if anyone local had the VW software and can link the car to the key.

If the key is toast then I’ve found the mobile car locksmiths to be the cheapest.

I thought they were aerials or transmitters not Stealth bombers?

The solution is obvious. If the knocking is happening at about 2 o’clock, ride earlier or later.

Jameso is explaining my point better than me. It somehow doesn’t make sense/look right.

Based on that picture I would be seeking a replacement fork. Admittedly it’s really hard to tell what’s going on from the picture but I’d err on the side of caution, something doesn’t quite feel right. Im not convinced it’s a manufacturing issue.

I’m assuming it’s some sort of inertia switch that’s faulty. Is it under warranty?

Keep an eye on the handle on your Lidl ovens. My handle had a fault and so the screw on the handle for the ash box fell out.  The handle design meant the ash box twisted when I removed it. Could have been pretty dangerous.

Is there any pattern to their flight times? Would love to see them take off/lane but presume it’s just a waiting game?

Actually I’ve given misinformation, it’s just B1s at the moment. Not the B2 or U2
