were at the very early stages of trying to get a trail centre up and running in angus(feasibilty study just finished)…all this is very worrying as we’ll be trying to generate funds based on a viable business plan that we can sell to a trail centre operator….and as for the FC,theyve been steadfast since the beginning with offers of no money(as theyve spent it on the peel)

i concur with eveything mark at tbc says,(hes bloody eloquent!)ive ridden at glentress long before they had trails/cafe/parking etc and its a proper day out now due to the facilities….

whatever anyone thinks of E/T and the hub you cant deny they havent put anything into the sport…whenever im their im always impressed that theyre riding with kids usually/doing skills sessions etc…didnt they start the kids mtb club down there? isnt it the biggest in scotland with a waiting list to get in?

im not sure how much development locally the new corporate supplier will apply!

the only issue is there isnt any schwalbe ice spikers or snow studs available in the uk until the first week in december…..ive got loads coming in though if anyone wants any! 😀 (i think ive got one pair of the dearer ice spiker left in at the moment)

id second jefferey west shoes…ive got 3 pairs and theyre timeless/classic…ill wear them for years..id agree with most of the comments above.anything handmade will be great quality…ive had bespoke shoes and theyre no better than a decent handmade pair(such as jeffery shoes)

id concur with sweeney although the designs have not really altered in the last five years..for a cheaper but still really good quality have a look at poste/kurt geigers own shoes..looking after them helps also

when the pro went upto £2800 i thought we’d sell hardly any…its my best selling orange in only a couple of months…orange themselves were also worried as to how sales would be affected due to the price rise and its had no effect(in fact the opposite has happened hence the 4 week leadtime at the mo)

i sell hardly any five s’s as most guys have done the research and will go upto the pro…weve probably sold 4 se’s since ive been a dealer(4years)not a big part of their market..

i still think they present very good value for money…try building a intense tracer for less than 4400..if you dont like em dont buy one and tell everyone on here once a month.. 😆

i think most of the mainstream frames are made theyre…we deal with sabbath and they come from theyre..cotic im sure do and most of the lynski stable..the charge is made there,that said the quality is really good
