I’ve got an America cup Ltd seamaster and I love it…had it 7 years and it still looks great! I never take it off…I got it serviced last year and it was 300 quid…costs 50 to insure every year. Was offered 500 more than I paid from a dealer last year….

For peace and quiet fly to Rhodes and get a ferry to either symi or nissiros had a great time in both.like stepping back in time….the 2nd one is volcanic and has really cool natural saunas and the odd tremor but very unspoilt!

i remember being a poor student in edinburgh and getting a tenner out of a machine…it gave me 20,so i withdrew £150 and it gave me £300….this went on until id got £200…..i then popped into the bank in the morning and put in the extra cash into my account….they never contacted me..that 200 quid went quite a way!

i dont think orange would waste time reading this tosh hora….

they dont sandblast the frames at orange,theyre dipped in acid which is less damaging to the frames…they dont do many of them because i think it interrupts what they normally do which is paint new bikes….having seen about 20 repainted bikes thru the shop i think its well worth the 200 nicker…ive seen jobs done locally and theyve all had various levels of flaws….

but its your choice!

200 quid plus a bit for postage…the job they do is brilliant though and they re-sticker it etc.anyone whos got it done has always been really happy

im aiming at anyone who is up for the etape caledonia or other sportives thru the summer….all levels will be catered for but you need to be able to cycle at least 60-70 miles…

i was thinking about a 65 miler with a big hill in the middle and lunch in the famous clattering brig cafe(at the bottom of the down hill) we’d have a dinner together on the evening at a local restaurant that would be saturday, sunday we’d offer a selection of routes.. a shop to shop ride again with lunch at a cafe.around 80 miles max with a option of a ride half that,both days will be fully supported with mechanic/food/drink/broom wagon…..the rides will be led by myself/locals/racers with excellent local knowledge/experience..

im gonna charge £35 for both days,including lunch,support,free bike check,route cards,free bike fettling,advice and a goodie bag.

theyre will be various bike packages on offer as well if you want to upgrade!
